10th Annual DVC Christmas Tree Exchange

I'm excited to start seeing these trees and can't wait to get mine!!

Will I get a PM on what day I'll actually need to pick mine up? I'm not sure if mine will be split with someone else.

Nevermind MrShiny!!! I see it in the Google Doc. We are the first to get the tree for AKV Jambo!!!! So excited! I didn't tell my family about it. Just my husband. My mother will be so surprised!

Yes - in most cases, the tree will pass without incident. But when one goes missing, having the nme of the person is very helpful! Last year we had a couple that were "lost" until we found the right person who remembered what part of the luggage storage room they put it in!

I don't mind doing it. It's my little vicarious trip to WDW! This way people actually on a real vacation don't have to try to track down trees!

So on a brighter note, I got confirmation that our tree for SSR has reached it's destination. We were SSR1. Hooray!!! Now if nothing got broken on the way.......

We arrived on 11/24 and having been up since 4am when the cast member checking us in mentioned that there was a package for me in the Business Office, I said, "Oh, Yes!", but I have to admit I was glad they reminded me!!

The Large package was brought up to us, but no one else in my family knew about the DVC Tree Exchange, so it was tons of fun to unpack it. And Terry enclosed so many goodies, I could hardly believe it--Thank you! I don't even know if we will need to add anything when we pass it along!

I was going to attach a picture, but what I'll call my $50 mistake this trip was leaving my laptop power cord behind, so my battery is fading Fast and I'm worried it will fail before I even figure out How to post a picture--Sorry. . .

Hopefully early next week, when I get my $50 mistake Fed-ex'd to me, I'll be able to post some pictures. Until then, Thank you to all of you for arranging, coordinating, donating etc--it is a wonderful pasttime!!
