Wow! I feel so lucky to have found this thread today rather than next week!

Families - We are doing a split stay, checking into BLT on December 23rd, out on the 27th when we check into Jambo House until the 29th.

Our children are 12, 10 and 6. I will PM you the other details.

This is out first trip at Christmas and I am so happy to find this thread!!

I do not have a tree but if more donors are needed please let me know!!

OK, all should be up to date. Reminder, I'll be closing the list 10/26 at midnight EDT.

I beileve I sent a link to everyone who asked for it again. Let me know if you still have trouble fibnding the link or getting to the sheet.

After 10/26, I'll come up with a rotation and confirm donors. If anyoe thinks they might want to donate, please let me know if you have not already. Extra trees will help, especially around times when a lot of stays overlap (like Christmas day!)

For overlapping stays, I'll try to keep trees wherever they are on 12/24 through at least 12/26. i'll also try to keep them for the couple of birthdays people let me know about. For overlapping stays or resorts with not enough trees for everyone to have one n Christmas, I'll use the number and ages of children to break ties.

If you are staying a long time and your stay overlaps with another, most likely your tree time will be split (so maybe you get the tree 4 out of 8 nights and another gets it 4 out of 6 nights, for example).

The day your turn in your tree (which may or may not be the day you check out), do so before 11 AM. The day you pick up your tree (which may or may not be the day you check in), wait until after noon to check for the tree.

Don't worry about memorizing this - I'll have a list and instructions that donors can ship with the tree (amazing how much goes out of my head as soon as I step on Disney property!)

Hints for tree families:

1) There should be an envelope for donations in the box. These donations are both for the return shipper to ship the tree back to the donor and for the donor to help defray costs. Please give what you can. If you are the last family, leave whatever is more than the shipping cost in the envelope for the donor.

2) Please let me know who you give the tree to when you hand it off, and whether they work for Front Desk or Bell Services. If you can snap a photo of them, that's great too (Disney CM's are always willing to pose for a picture!). This can really help if trees are mislaid.

3) On your Drop off day, drop the tree off before 11AM. On your pick up day, pick up the tree after noon.

4) Don't try to run down missing trees yourself. Let me do that for you. Sometimes a tree or two will get lost. Often they are located later. Don't spend vacation time tracing down trees!

5) (Optional) Add an ornament to the tree from your family. This could be something from home or something from WDW. Completely optional!

6) While it might seem easer to arrange direct handoffs with the previous family if your stays overlap, better to let the resort handle this. Familes might be on tight schedules, so arranging a meet up time might take away valuable vacation time.
