How is the 100 years of magic parade. I have went to Disney World twice while they had the parade, but never saw. Is it good, bad, in the middle?:bounce: :Pinkbounc

MY family and I love it. Music is sweet. The globe floats are well. done. I have seen it quite a few times and it seems to have many different points where the parade is interactive with the guests. My DD has gotten into the parade several times. She has played red light, green light with the Lost Boys, passed buckets with the brooms from Fantasia, walked with Robin Hood, and bounced with Tigger.

My DD6 was also pulled out to play with the Lost Boys. We saw this parade several times during our past trips. We never get tired of it the floats are really well done. The characters look out into the crowd and interact with you. My DD was thrilled that she got a special hello from Cinderella. She looked starstuck as she waved back. I really enjoy this parade.

I just saw it and really enjoyed it. Wierd thing is that for some technical reason it was delayed about 20 minutes.

Well, we certainly are partial to it now since we were the grand marshals one day! :jester: ;)
Plus we took the KttK tour January 2001. They were tearing apart Electrical Parade and working on building the first snowglobe. Disney was still working on how to do it. :)

Well I just saw it today, after seeing it in January, and what is the deal? The parade used to stop at least a couple times and interact with everyone, and had a princesses float, and a Cinderella coach float with the fairy godmother, and when the parade stopped, she would help put on a show, and confetti would come flying out and everything! Today, the whole parade was less than 10 minutes- 5 floats- Mickey, Pinocchio, Aladdin, villains, and the final one with Goofy and Donald, that was it. And the floats just marched by, never stopped. And the Snow White queen used to turn around and poof! all of a sudden she was the old lady with the apple- that doesn't happen anymore either. What's going on?! The parade's been chopped about in half! I felt sorry for the people who were seeing it for the first time- not nearly as impressive.

We had the same thing happen when went in December. We saw the parade early in the week and I knew there just had to be more to it. Turns out it had been shortened due to the inclement weather earlier in the day. We were lucky to be down in December when it rained -- a lot! I saw it again later in the week, one of the few dry days, and it was much longer and nicer.
