Well, we were going to go through the TS store to buy our point add-on for SS, but because of the incentives (10 points off, for $94.00 a point), a $500 visa card, getting 2008 UY points that we can rent out or transfer, AND being able to pay with 0% credit card, we ended up buying directly through Disney.
Out of the blue our guide called us yesterday to say hi, just when we were talking about buying resale. We thought that there was no way that Disney direct would be able to match the price per point that we could get resale, plus I thought that SS was sold out a few days ago. Turns out we were wrong!! Our guide said that his morning report showed that they had just over 3k points left for SS (not very many!) and that if we wanted anything, there are still some there. We did some number crunching to see if price per point was better to go this way, and it was!!! YIPPIE!! So, as of a few hours ago, we are essentially 100 points richer!
