I have a 10 year old daughter who has never ordered anything from an adult menu. She's a light eater. Do your young kids who are on the adult dining plan order from the kid's or adult's menu at sit down restaurants?

The adult menu. My ds12 is extremely picky and he could always find something - minus sauces and maybe sides. Dd was 9 last trip and it was killing her that she still had to order kids meals. She did have some if her brothers desserts because he was too full for them.

My last trip, my DD was 8 and I upgraded her to the adult plan (free dining.)

She spent the entire week eating kid's meals, and my DD6 used her adult credits to eat better things.

This year they are 10 and 8. I expect DD10 will still eat mostly kid's meals, and DD8 will probably just pick whatever she is in the mood for. We are going the last week of August, so I probably won't get free dining, it will all be OOP.

Purchase a child's meal for her OOP and use the adult credits to pay for an extra meal for the other adults in your party. This will work except at buffets, etc where you would have to pay full adult price for her anyway, so you might as well use her dining credit.

Our DD had just turned 10 when we went last November and we did this in most places, she is a picky eater and we purchased child meals paying oop and were able to get a few more TS meals out of it!

We had DDP and we had no problem with saying we wanted to use just 2 credits and pay for the extras. This even worked at Tepan Edo and I was worried about that one! and T-Rex.

She did have a few steaks off the adult menu's where they were served and just got them plain, she actually loved the steak from BOG! she had the pot roast at 50's, loved it, and we ordered her an adult meal at R&C, the fish and chips and she shared this with DD2. Only because we had an extra adult TS spare at the end of the holiday otherwise she would have had the kids portion.

We also did Garden Grill and 'Ohana using the 3 credits, but she did not like anything on the set 'family' menu so they brought her plain chicken/nuggets, shared with DD2 and we still got loads to eat! No problem.
