10 year anv. Thoughts on weekend trips budget $1K

This year is our 10 year anniversary and we are doing a cruise out of Miami in November, 457.00 with tax and port charges included for both of us, 4 day on NCL Sky. Looking to get a deal on airfare and make it super budget

We are driving from NW Arkansas for a three day weekend in Memphis. I got a deal staying at the Peabody on hotwire. We plan to go to the zoo (pandas!) and Graceland, and whatever else tickles our fancy. Lots of good eats, I think it will be a fun trip for under $1000.

We took an anniversary trip to Tan-tar-a. Very reasonable, couple hours from where you are. It is an older resort but felt like were were in Dirty Dancing. We had a great time. You can rent wave runners, golf, swim, nightclub, restaurants on the lake any number of things for under your budget.

We just got back this week. Now, we live in Indiana and the drive for us was not too bad. You can fly into Knoxville, too.

We did Dollywood and the Smokies. We enjoyed it. It's not Disney, but we liked it and we are going back one more time this year.
