Honestly I don't think Splash Mountain is that bad at all and can't imagine why it would be pregnancy restricted.
The reason these type of rides are restricted is that they pull your legs into a position that isn't good for a fetus. It might not be a problem in the early months, prior to any pooch, but it could cut off oxygen/blood flow to the baby later on.

This is exercise. The general rule with exercise is that you can do anything during pregnacy through pregnancy when you have no problems with exercise.
I don't mean to be preachy; I just feel that some people don't always have all the information and I wouldn't want someone (the OP or a lurker/another poster) to read these things and do things that shouldn't be done (for them) without first discussing it with their doctor. If you do consider riding these rides, talk with your doctor.
