Ok, we'all have to see how this trip report goes. I don't have the best history of finishing them, but with this being new I'm giving it another try.
I'll give some history on the trip first. I was offered the chance to run Princess Weekend in February, but was told because of things being in flux at work that I couldn't have the time off I then negotiated that I could run either the Gingerbread 5k or the Wine & Dine Weekend races in November. Fast forward to March, I book a package when the rumors come out of the ticket price increases & use by dates being put into effect. I was talking to a friend the next week & told her about my plans to go back down to Disney & run. She had just taken her two boys in October and the older one was asking to go back.
Time jump to the end of March/beginning of April. T(my friend) & her boys are joining me & are now on my reservation. I'll use different names for the boys on here then in real life as I introduce you to them.
Introductions
My name is Nicole. I can't even keep track of the number of trips I've done in both the last few years & when I was little. Disney became the "happy place" for my family to go as we dealt with health issues for my brother. I turn 30 in less than a week & work as a lead pharmacy tech. My favorite rides are Dinosaur & 7DMT. My favorite characters are probably Belle & Goofy. I've done run Disney events before & that is the reason for this trip as well.
T is my friend who is joining me on this adventure. She's a early childhood teacher here at home. Her first time to Disney was this past October. She's the mom to 2 wonderful little boys who also are coming along. She is laid back & says they are along for the ride
Dan is the younger of the boys. He'll be turning 3 while we are at Disney, so it's a double bonus that he eats free & gets in free for our trip. He went on all the rides his family went on without the height restriction in October. He loves Paw Patrol & Mickey right now.
Al is going to be 6 on the trip. He's the one that asks to go back to Disney. His least favorite rides were Jungle Cruise & Pirates of the Caribbean on his last trip. He liked meeting characters though.
