10 person van to get to character breakfast

HI all-

Going to the World in a few weeks and have a question. I will need to get 10 people from Saratoga Springs to the Grand Floridian for a character breakfast. I'm thinking the easiest way is to rent a taxi, but we have 10 people in our party. Have you seen any large van taxis at Disney that could transport that many people? If so, any recommendations on how to arrange this in advance?

If it does need to be arranged in advance, it doesn't need to be done far in advance. Once you get to SSR, ask a Bell Services cast member at the reception area about this ... he/she will be the best expert to give you info such as "no need to arrange in advance" or "give me 1 hour notice" or "give me 1 day notice," and so on. When at a decent hotel, there's never any reason to contact a taxi company directly, the bell services personnel will be happy to do it for you.

But it will also work out well for you to take Disney Transport transportation for free. Buses start running around 6:30 a.m. You can all take the bus from SSR to Magic Kingdom, and then depending on how early you're talking about, you can catch the short boat ride from MK to Grand Floridian, or you can take the monorail loop around the lagoon from MK to GF.

When I was Bell/Valet Cap at the GF, WL, & YC, there was no need to call for a taxi or taxi van in advance. They're always available nearby. If a resort does not have valet services, just ask the front desk or guest services/concierge to call.

You could take more than one taxi. You will meet up again at your breakfast.

Depending on how everyone is in the morning we might just take a bus to MK then jump on the monorail OR grab a taxi (or 2).
