10 people, 8 days and 3 rooms, IT WAS WILD!!!! *7/16* pt 3 on pg 20

Yep, I'm with Cheri - go to Canada! Le Cellier is the best!

We also ate at Garden Grill because of Chip but it was really good too and I went into it with pretty low expectations and we had a great meal.

But Le Cellier was fabulous!

And then you can say you've been here!

I did Garden Grill, too. I didn't realize (or rather, probably forgot) you were going there, Sarah. What day did y'all go?

Yep, that is where it was. The s'mores were fun too! Sprinkled marshmallows on a stick stuck in chocolate cookies! Yummmm....

I went there because it is the best place to eat in all the World! The mushroom filet just melts.....

Drooling now.....must go back.....

Okay....I'm along for the ride.:thumbsup2

I'm trying to limit how many of these PTRs I subscribe to, but yours caught my eye because:

1) I travelled to WDW during basically the same week this year in June 07. So I may have some insight for you

AND

2) I have travelled w/ large groups to WDW 4x before. I may have some ideas for you. In fact, this past June I went w/ 14 people w/ 5 children from 5-11 years old.....sound familiar?:)

My experience w/ EMHs this past year was heavenly...We avoided them and by doing so, I feel we missed crowds. I will go into great detail w/ my thoughts on this, but only if you want me to.

YEA MORE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

jordanyosh, I am all for the more advice the BETTER!!!!!! so was it TOO crowed? How was MGM during the SW weekends, did you go? Tell me all about your trip!

eta: I just saw your link so I am off to read your report but I still may have ???????'s!

You can check out my PTR for some pictures from my trip in June.

But I will try and give you a short;) TR here to try and give you an idea of what to expect.

SWW: I did make it to SWW which usually runs through late May through mid-June. I think they extended it a week so it was there thru Sunday, June 24th. I got there on Saturday, the 17th before opening. There were LONG lines for autographs, but I walked onto ToT and RnRC. I didn't stay long so I can't comment on the park crowds...

Weather: Predictably hot and humid. It only rained one day, but pretty much all day. I would've welcomed those afternoon thundershowers. It was hot...

Crowds: Now my feeling from reading these boards is this: Avoid EMH parks. Sure some people say hit an Early Morning Magic Hour and then cut out of there....HOWEVER, what we (I) did was check out the EMHs for the week we were there. Most days have a morning EMH and an evening EMH. That leaves 2 other parks that probably won't be as busy.......For instance on Monday the 18th, AK had it's evening EMH and MGM had it morning EMH. So that left either MK or Epcot....well, since most people have their 1st full day at WDW on Monday, I figured MK would be busy on Monday. I chose Epcot...I chose wisely. It really wasn't too bad and we didn't start our day until about 10am....Soarin was the only one w/ a long line and FPs for hours later.

AK was on Tuesday because it was sandwiched between AK's evening EMH (Monday) and morning EMH (Wednesday). Again it was busy, but not crazy. My friends went back to that park on Wednesday and said it was way too crowded.

So that's how I planned......

Kids: The kids all loved the parks, but they LOVED the pool. If you asked them what their favorite part of the vacation was they would all say the pool....crazy I know....

I have more.....

As far as your meal at Epcot...get an ADR for Le Cellier if you can! The kids will LOVE the desserts!

SARAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what are you saying about me????????

HI FRIENDS, welcome to the party!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance3:

Kinda/sarah is a dear friend who I have known for awhile now, she is my yoda for this trip planning adventure. Other than our 1 day this Jan, I haven't been to disney since 94 for a vacay so I feel like all is new again.

Then after this trip in June, we will be doing a dis cruise in Nov of 09 so I will be hitting that board after this one is over. That one will be a 14 person trip with my side of the family.

Meriann,
I've heard folks talk about this cricut. Is it for scrapbooking?
What are you going to make with it? Details?!?! ;)

yes its a machine that cuts shapes and letters. They have a varitey of cartridges that you put in the machine and it cuts out what you want. It will cut shapes up to 5 inches. But they just came out with a new one that can go up to 12 inches.

ITS VERY COOL! I plan on using it for my scrapbooks and to make things for the girls. If I can find shrink plastic, they have a cute idea where they made a charm braclet using the letters and shapes.

It also can cut cling vinyl, I am thinking some window decorations for our trip may be in order!!!!!!!!!!
