Visitorlando.com is advertising a deal for 10%+ off Disney Tickets. I called looking for a deal on 7 day non-park hoppers and they said the tickets expire at the end of 2018.

Looks like a great deal. Has anyone else bought VisitOrlando tickets before? I have done Undercover tourist successfully, but not VisitOrlando.

Feedback appreciated.

I was only able to find a 5 day option on the site but it was a good price. Tax was not included until checkout. $407 for a 5 day park hopper with mini golf included.

I put in January dates and the expiry was for May. I didn't buy, just was checking price.

You can edit you # of days. Just don't go through black Friday deals.

Code Gift gives the discount.

You pay shipping or pick them up at VisitOrlando

I can likewise select any option of Disney tickets for an appearance discount.

Still, any one purchase through visitorlando?

All tickets expire at the end of 2018 now.
If you end up not using some of the days, doesn't Disney let you pay for the price increase so you can roll the tickets over to 2019.

All tickets expire 14 days after first use. New unused tickets expire at the end of 2018. If you don’t use the ticket, it will still be worth what you paid towards a new ticket.

So if you bought a 5 day ticket and only used 3, you only have 14 days to use those 3 tickets. But if I bought a 5 day ticket and never used any of the days, and you are saying my tickets expire at the end of 2018, I can turn them in and get my 5 days for 2019.

Why can't I turn in those 2 days I didn't use and apply those 2 days to new tickets also in 2019.

No. If your unused ticket expires, you can exchange it towards a new ticket, but it’s only worth the price you paid. You don’t automatically get a new ticket with the same number of days. You’d have to cover any price increases out of pocket if you wanted the same number of days.

Ever since the introduction of “Magic Your Way” tickets, you haven’t been able to apply the days on a used ticket towards a new ticket. That’s just not how the pricing is structured.

The deals on Visit Orlando are all pre-tax and fee amounts. That $350 for a 5 day base ticket before tax price can also be had on Undercovertourist.com, they are just more upfront about taxes and fees... their big Black Friday sale is on 5 day park hoppers for $428 after tax... I would prefer to go with them they are great to work with and will do 95% returns on mailed tickets.

Thanks for all the feedback. But the VisitOrlando deal seems quite a bit better at the moment.

Example clicking through on both sites (without purchasing).
3 adult tickets
Base (non-hopper)

Undercover Tourist
$1265.85 (tax and shipping included)

VIsit Orlando (promo code “gift”)
$1200 for tickets
-$120 for promo code
$70.20 for tax
$14.95 for shippin
$1165.15 TOTAL

So I am seeing a price that is $100 less than undercover Tourist. (Feel free to check my work)

Which seems too good to be true. And I still haven’t heard any one on this board saying they bought through Visit Orlando

I have purchased through official ticket center in the past, because they are normally less than undercover tourist. It appears that this deal is even less than the official ticket center prices.

You are absolutely right! My bad I missed the promo code, for some reason I assumed it was included already and last night when i checked it wasn't showing up. Can anyone else vouch for buying thru this site?

I’ve always purchased through outside sources. Both for disneyworld and Disneyland. This Visit Orlando website is a 501 c. Most major cities have a travelers website just like this one you can buy discount tickets from. I would just make sure I read the fine print for those specific tickets you are buying.

I used this sale last year to buy universal tickets for a christmas trip. Worked perfectly! I just bought 5 1 day park to park for universal again with the sale.

I am seriously considering buying the 7-10 hopper deal x 4 (I'm calculating ~$85 from disney prices per ticket) and bridging to annual passes, etc. Wouldn't that save 4x$85 next year or even more with the new rack rates in 2018?

The only other thing to consider is price of AP next year vs. buying the vouchers now. Not sure that 4 AP's will go up $85x4= $340 though. Still may be worth it if not going until mid-2018.

I just purchased the visit orlando black Friday deal and you can pay through paypal which means your purchase is protected. It is the best deal on tickets I have found and you get free mini golf.

Does anyone know if these are upgradable? I’m looking specifically to buy 3 day park hoppers for Universal to upgrade to annual passes.
