We did 10days last year. It was the perfect length of time. We did go to the parks every day at least for a little while. We got to do all of our favorite attractions multiple times. We got in plenty of swimming, shopping, and resort hopping as well.
When the day of our departure came, we were ready to go home. We didn't feel like we had missed anything. We liked our 10days so much that we already have another 10days booked next Aug.

. The World showcase also has kid passports that you can get a stamp in each country. Going for 10 days eases the pressure of I can't waste ride time doing that . Journey to Imagination has a great phot lab where the kids can morph their faces onto animals , flowers etc and then email them for free home to themselves, friends, grandparents etc.. Each park has wonderful things to explore. 10 days also gives you the opportunity to visit DTD which the kids loved. Goofys candy kitchen was a blast. There are several threads about how much fun it was. I would highly recommend splitting your stay at 2 resorts. We always do and its like 2 vacations in one. Each resort is its own little oasis, we always try to stay at a magic kingdom resort and then a resort near the other parks. If you haven't stayed at AKL I would urge trying it out its a destination all its own. My kids loved the animals outside their balcony and there was tons of special kids programs cooking at Boma, stories, animal programs etc... You also can relax at some character meals and not worry at how much time its taking. They have special little programs like the Princess Tea party at GF, Adventures in cooking, a pirate cruise. Or you can take the girls to your own tea party at the GF.
I'm not a real WDW
