:tiptoe::tiptoe: Doing the happy dance.. Our last Fall trip for the near future. ( Pulling our son out of Kindergarten to go on this one) I am envisioning breakfast at Trails End as I type this...Nice family trip. The 3 of us, and 3 of the inlaws, all in our own campers.. Hope it's the mild pleasant Fall weather we are so used to enjoying when we go.

Waiting.... time crawls....

Hope the weather in fact is good for you Claude.

thanks for the well wishes.. Bama Ed I agree, time leading to this trip is dragging and i know it will zoom by as soon as we arrive. Just looking forward to my 5 year old renewing his aquainttance with Mickey Mouse

Have a safe trip and how cool that y'all and inlaws can do this together and all enjoy those precious moments with your son. Recalling when my kids encountered Mickey and the gang, still makes my eyes well up. We've got a lot on video which we can rewatch and rewatch without it ever growing old. And, always in my heart.

Now, Claude?

This is killing me....

Thanks.. Its kind of funny. I had been to Disney once as a kid in the 70s.. Pre Epcot around 78 I believe. I hadn't been back.. flash forward to 2000. I get married to a girl who practically grew up at the Fort going every other year for w eeks at a time.. We've now gone in 06, 08,10 in a pop up,( she was carrying our son in 10, about 5 months along) 12, 13, 14 in a travel trailer, and now in 8 days in the travel trailer getting towed by a nice brand new F250.. my son's 4th trip ( if you count time in the womb in 10) He absolutely LOVES Disney as it should be. I'm really just lookng forward to building more of those memories with them and the inlaws. I'm blessed that we all get along so well.. Can't wait.. Seems like it will never get here, then it will be over...

Claude- we arrive the 29th and stay for 2 weeks too ! sounds like our dates might be close to the same :) I could amble to the October Meet and Greet thread to see if your dates are on there, but it's easier to just say HI right here and ask you when you'll be there :) I completely understand what you mean about waiting forever, and then as soon as it gets here it's over. Almost (but not quite) makes me wish it was just a little bit longer before we arrive :)

Hi.. We arrive on the 27th and pull out on the 10th of Oct. Hoping the forecast improves.. According to weather.com it "may" rain most of the time we are there.. Then again.. it may not.. I'd just like a couple of days in the mid 70s, clear and an occasional breeze. Heat doesn't phase me, I just love Fall weather at Disney..

Is it time yet Claude? I cant wait much longer...

Have a great trip, but don't expect 'true' Fall weather - or maybe it's more true than not for the deep south!! :D You're from Pearl River, I'm from Hammond, so we both know it is still 'summer' temps no matter what the calendar says! :goodvibes

Thanks..Yeah I know the weather will be less ideal than past trips. We usually would go the last week of October through the first week of November.. This year, the timing wasn't right for that. A rainy cloudy day at Disney still beats a sunny day not at Disney though. 4 days till we leave...
