10 days in Disney w/ pics

We ate at Tony's Town Square for my 30th b-day on Day 6. It is an Italian restaraunt at the Magic Kingdom. We had a great meal there!!! Hope you have a wonderful trip- must say I'm a little jealous, I can't wait to go back!

So glad to hear this! This is where I picked for my 26th birthday in Sept! I was nervous since I have been reading so many negatives.

Thanks for all the help! We will be at CBR for 6 nights, 7 days with dinning plan and park hopper. I feel like we won't get to do everything in that amount of time but we are sure gonna try. Of course, I have more questions. Do the resorts have times for all the parades in the parks and night time shows? Also, does anyone know if CBR has wireless internet access? My husband is in the middle of getting his masters and is taking an internet course right now. He has to get on the internet everyday and post responses to an online discussion. Our lap top can either use dial up (with a phone line) or wireless. (the port for the hi speed is messed up and can not be used.) Does anyone know if we will be able to use either dial up from a phone line or wireless from CBR? I know it will cost an arm and a leg, but we have to do it. Also, are their places to put all the stuff we are carrying around (camera, money, etc.) when we get on the rides?

If you go to the WDW website and click on the calendar they will have the lists of parade and night time shows for your visit right now online, you can also call 1-407-w-disney and they will give you the times. They will also have times guides at check in and at the desk for you.
That's funny, I teach for University of Phoenix online so have the same problem when we travel. All resorts have Wi-Fi internet access now, it is 9.99 for a 24 hour period billed to your room.
You can rent a locker at any park to put your "stuff" in.

So glad to hear this! This is where I picked for my 26th birthday in Sept! I was nervous since I have been reading so many negatives.

I felt the exact same way but we had a good meal and the way they gave the kids confetti and streamers to decorate with and the restaraunt sang to me was very memorable. Be sure to note it's your b-day on your reservation. Also you can get a cake from the restaraunt for 12.50 put on your bill and they will bring it out and sing, it was very good by the way. Lesley: Just had to tell you I thoroughly enjoyed reading your trip report (here at work of course)......might as well get paid to read the DIS! You have a beautiful family and a very thougtful DH! Got to tell you too, you've inspired me to get a visor for my next DIS trip which is exactly 1 mo 11 days from today!!!!! My hair never "works" right in WDW and I wind up hating myself in the pics. Will definitely try the visor thing this time around! Thanks for the great report!

P.S. My DD had beautiful curls like Lauren when she was younger 2-3 yrs., but once her hair grew long, it is now straight as can be (she is 6)! The curls were great while they lasted. When it is hot and humid she does still get the little ringlets around her face!

You have a beautiful family, and did an excellent job with sharing your trip I imagined being there with all your details! Your trip started as our first trip did when my daughter was 3yo but ours did not go as well as she ended up in Celebration hospital for the whole trip! But we have been back at least 10 times since and she is 10 this year ( we also have a 6yo son who started his Disney adventures @ 5 months). Every trip has a new memory and memories are something they will have forever! So thanks again and I too come to the Dis to get my Disney fix!

In 2005 I gave you a room code (BEG). People said they wouldnt let us use it. They DID let us use it and we saved 100s of dollars! Were you guys able to use it?

We usually go in June for Star Wars Weekends. This year we are going for Christmas. My parents, brother, sil, their 3 kids, my best friend, her bf, their 2 kids and her parents are going.

Hi Laura, I remember you, you were my LIFESAVER when that code came out. Yes we used it and saved a ton. I think it was only like 128 a night for WL woodsview, now we are HOOKED on WL. Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed the report. Christmas time would be so much fun to visit, have a WONDERFUL time. Here's hoping for codes for our next trip, didn't get a thing this year.

Wow, I'm so glad that your family had such a great time!!! I am so looking forward to your next disney trip. Reading some of your report about the little things (ie. walking with just your son in MGM are priceless) I too have memories like this when my kids were younger. And still have amazing ones now that they are older. Glad that Tim got the room that you wanted. I also have to say what a great guy you have there to surprise you with your parents coming down for your birthday. You guys sound so much like my DH and I. Our love for Disney grows all the time. That's why we even ended up buying into the DVC. It makes planning those trips so much better. And there were a few times that I teared up reading your post. It's amazing that some people just don't get why we love going to Disney so much. I know that my DH thought that I was crazy for loving Disney so much, that is until we brought him down there for the very first time. We ended up having to buy extra luggage to come home, because he bought so much stuff. It's a great place to make lasting memories. Slomething no on can take away from you!!!!
