FANTASTIC Trip report!!! One of the best, by far!! MY DS is getting to be an old guy(almost 8) and am not looking forward to the time when he thinks he is too old for Mom and Dad. There is just something so special about taking our children to WDW!!
We are going the end of July and can't wait. Hope you get over your post trip blues soon!!

BTW, I didn't know that Mission Space doesn't spin anymore. I have never ridden it, and was worried about the spinning. That's good news to know that it doesn't anymore.

There are two lines for Mission Space now, one for the regular linefor the original ride and another for the new version with no spinning. Just make sure you go in the right line (they are clearly marked).

I loved those pics from the flag day! We stay at the Villas there and have always wondered what the view's like from the roof! That is such a great moment that you guys will never forget!

WOW!!! Thanks you, thank you, thank you - I loved reading everyday and now I really can't wait for our stay at Wilderness Lodge in 38 days I've taken notes on the tips you've given throughout your report and plan to use them on our trip. I totally understand how sad it is to leave DW and after the many trips we've been on, it doesn't get any easier. I'm dreading having to leave and we aren't even there yet. Thanks again for giving me a much need "Disney fix" all these days... ...

I'm so sad that it's over!

I get the same feelings you described on my last day at WDW. No matter how long you're there, it never seems long enough! I, too, am a teacher, but I plan to "sneak away" for a long weekend in the fall for MNSSHP. I did it last year and it was AWESOME!

Our big (but not as big as I would like) summer trip is coming up in just a little over 2 weeks. It's only 8 days this year. Last year was 10 (but we didn't go to a park on the 10th day ) so I still won't be 100% satisfied with this trip. I told my DH that our 10 year anniversary trip is going to be AT LEAST 14 nights/15 days. He agreed. Woo hoo!!!

Thanks for an INSPIRING and MAGICAL trip report! I loved every moment of it! You really helped to bring the magic to the DIS family!

I have been to Disney repeatedly as a child/teen, but this will be my first trip in over a decade, and definitely the first as the MOM in charge! You have some great tips that I have not read anywhere (flag family, Epcot character meeting, Tinkerbell store). If you don't mind sharing, do you have a source for these insider tips?

I have learned all of this through posts here on the Dis and from my repeated visits. you are newer to the Dis, hang around here long enough and you will be quite knowledgeable. I love the Dis! I learn so much from others and it's great having the opportunity to share your experiences for those who can appreciate them and understand where your passion for Disney comes from.
