How does the 10-Day World Pass Work?

I have some friends that are traveling to the UK. Can I have them buy the passes for me?

Is there a way I can get them directly without imposing on my friends?

Do the passes have restrictions????

If I use the passes only 8 days, they would still beat a 7-day Park Hopper Plus.

an adult 10 world pass is $335 at paramount international travel. you can order straight from them. there is a $15 shipping charge.

have a great trip!!

They will just have a date on them that you have to use them by. Also any days that are left you will lose.

We bought 10 day passes from pauramount international travel and used them in Jan. It was great having all the options that the 10 day pass offers. We just bought three 30 day passes from them for our next stay as we will be at WDW longer than 2 weeks and needed more than 10 days. We opted for the 30 day pass versus a PAP and saved alot. The 30 day pass is 310 and a PAP is 520. If we were going back to WDW within a year we would of gone with the PAP. Just something to consider. PIT # 1 888 281 6699

They do not have a date on them that you have to use them by.They expire 21 days after first use.

When I purchased mine last year they did have a use by date. I want to say in was Oct or Nov of last year. In addion to the 21 day rule. I dont know if they changed for this year.

The only date on the ticket I have is the date it was purchased.Maybe you are confusing that as an expiration date?

Nope, Not confused. I dont have my ticket from last year but this is from the website I purchased it from:

Travel to Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando between 01st May and 31st October 2003 to take advantage of this spectacular offer

The last day to purchase this ticket is 31st May, 2003

notes:

Valid for travel 1st May - 31st October 2003. Ticket expires 20 days after first entry into any Disney Theme Park or on 20 November 2003 whichever is sooner.

Exactly like I said, the TICKET does not have an expiration date.Read what you wrote. All that says is when the deal for the ticket media is being offered. The ticket itself has no expiration date.It expires 20 days after first use.

Ticket expires 20 days after first entry into any Disney Theme Park or on 20 November 2003 whichever is sooner.

That sure looks like an expiration date to me. ;)

Thanks I am glad you noticed the EXPIRATION date also.:smooth:

The ticket only expires 20 days after first use.By telling people that the Ticket has an expiration date on it is misleading.I can sit on this ticket for 2 years and go to WDW and it will still be valid. What the website you bought it from said means nothing. What the ticket media states is the only thing that matters to WDW.
Here is the back of a 10 day pass bought in January

I believe the 10 Day World Pass tickets purchased from themeparkland.com or whatever the site was in the UK that had the sale and now no longer sells to the US (we missed the sale :() said that travel had to be completed by Oct. 31. It's one of the reasons we didn't buy the ticket immediately. We wanted to make SURE we were going to Disney. Once we secured our hotel on Hotwire we purchased our 10 day pass from PIT and received them with no problem and no expiration date. I don't know if the tickets from themeparkland.com had expiration dates actually printed on them but the SITE did say travel had to be completed by a certain date so I guess that's an expiration date of sorts...Since they no longer sell to US and you'll probably get you ticket from PIT there is NO expiration date. We just received 8 of them and they were delivered in about 5 days. Now we can't wait to use them!! Hope this helped with some of the confusion :)

I think I may be able to clarify something here. The standard 10 day world pass is around £235 - £250 and has no restrictions other than the 'expires after 20 days' rule. However, a couple of times a year they will be available at a lower price (usually around £189 - £199) and these discounted tickets do come with restrictions on buying and using. I have a 10 day pass currently which has to be used before November 2003 and is only sold for a limited time. The UK Disney store is selling them at the moment at a reduced rate but they have to be used before the end of October. None of this is stated on the ticket itself so you have to be very careful that you check out the deal before you buy. I'm sure the ticket machines at Disney will know when they expire.

Okay, we are planning a trip to Disney in September. I have heard all about the 10 Day World Pass and am very interested in using it because of the price savings + a character breakfast. We are a little bit leery about using them because of the fact that they are only supposed to be sold in the UK. I have spoken to both Paramount Travel and Disney and have been told that if we show up with them, they will honor them. What I wanted to know was if anyone who has used these recently can attest to this fact and tell me that they didn't have any problems at all with using it. I would really appreciate the info. I am willing to take a little bit of a gamble, but my DH is nervous about it. Please set his fears to rest!!

Thanks!

I too want to use paramount but am so skeptical as it just seems too good to be true..........don't want to shell out a lot of money and have the tickets be worthless, nor do I want any part of anything unethical ...............if indeed these passes are for international travelers only...........kind of confused so hopefully someone will answer

We're going in June with the 10-Day World Pass from Paramount.

I have the tickets, and they do not have an expiration date. Just that they expire 20 days from first use. Virgin and others in the UK had special discountd 10-Day World Passes. Their sites indicated they had expiration dates. Paramount does not.

I'll report on the experiance.

We are going for 8 days, so none of the park hoppers provided the correct number of days. The UPH was too $$$.
