10 day hoppers, 10 nights at ASmu, a DDP question

If we go into a park on the first day of our stay, do we have to use up all our DDP credits on park days? We'd like to do an early breakfast at chef Mickeys and then take off for the coast. Do my credits have to match my park days?

It is tied to how many nights you stay not how many days you spend in the parks. You could conceivably use all you DDP credits without ever setting foot in a park if you wanted to.

If I understand the rules correctly you can use the credits any time from the minute you check in until midnight the day you check out.

Yes. This is correct. We went directly to Pepper Market for lunch the day we checked in and used credits. The day of check out, we stopped again at Pepper Market and got sandwiches to go to eat at the airport on our departure day.
