Love how many characters you got to see and how funny that it's DH that wanted to see them all

Pity about Pizza Planet but I'm glad the POFQ food was good, when we ate Beignets there we all got completely covered in sugar

So were we!!!!! Yes, he knew there were certain characters we did not get on our last trip.

I gave up on photo bucket. I found a site called tinypic, it is just like photo bucket, but so far I have not had no problems with the size of the pictures.

We were on the hunt for them. It is hard when you kids get older to take the time to get the pictures taken. When they were younger that seemed like all we did.
The ballon worked great. It floated out just like I hoped it would.
When are you planning on going?Age four is such a great time to go. Will it a first trip for your child?

BTW I am going to be using tinypic now to upload my photos.
So much better then photobucket.
We are going to be hopefully going to the Pocono mountains during spring break. I was hoping to get a new camera before we want. But I have to use DD camera to take pictures. I will make sure to share some photos with all of you. Hopefully it warms up here in Pa. I froze yesterday at DD LAX game,and she has one today also.

January 8th 2009

Today when stitch said good morning no sleeping at 7:30am, I was sad. Today we go home. Only in Disney world do I get sad about going home. We can go to the beach for a week, and I am ready to go home by the end of the week. But WDW, I always have a hard time leaving. DH got right up and want for hot water for my tea. I made his coffee while he was gone. I got dressed and packed what else I could pack. Once DS and DD were up and dressed we packed everything else. We ate breakfast at the resort. We were to eat at Ohana's this morning for breakfast, but we decide we wanted to not waste that time sitting at a restaurant.The breakfast was very good, and very filling.After breakfast I waited in line with our check in luggage, while DH want to luggage storage to check in our carry on's. I was still in line when he came back. People in front of me were complaining about having to pay because there luggage was over 50 pounds. I had DH go take some pictures of the resort for me. All he got where some of DD and DS.He said I did not fully explain what I wanted.

Finally we were next. I waited 30 minutes, which I just thought was unreal. Someone else should have came over and took my luggage, since those people were complaining and holding up the line. We got to the bus stop and waited for a AK bus.The plan was to got to AK first and do the safari and flights of wonder. A bus came about 20 minutes later. It was now getting late. Of course the bus want Blizzard beach first. There was only three families on the bus. You would think he would have know no one was going to blizzard beach today. It was cold and cloudy today, and there was like slight chance of rain for tonight. I wished he would have just asked. Save energy..save the polar bears!

So it was a long ride to AK. We get to AK and it was busy. We headed right for the safari.We waited about 20 minutes. I really dislike how the line is for this attraction. You always get away from your party. Then people given dirty looks when you are waving the rest of your party up with you in line. It was nice and cool out today and I was hoping to see lots of animals.
On safari we go....

Never smile at a crocodile. No, you can't get friendly with a crocodile. Sing along....

As you see we saw many animals, I didn't even post half the pictures we took on the safari. Our driver was very funny and entertaining. That always makes for a good ride in WDW.

We walked around and then headed for the line for Flights of Wonder. I heard such great things about this show, so I really wanted to see it. We spotted Devin will on our walk. I love just to watch her. Some people were walking by and were scared when she started to move. I guess they wonder what the heck we were all standing around looking at. IT was funny. Wish I got a picture of their faces.

We waited about 10 minutes outside and then were seated. The show started off great. A man in the back was picked to holed his money in his hand and have it taken away from him and brought back. Which the bird want right over DD and my head.The wind was picking up and the clouds were rolling in. We were getting cold. Wish I did not pack those jackets in the carry ons.From what we saw of the show...was amazing. The birds were beautiful. We saw a Owl that I spotted on our first AK day in Camp Mickey and Minnie. He was amazing. But then the clouds got darker and it started to pour. The rain was so hard that the CM's microphone was shorted out. The porr CM was soaked.

(I took some other pictures but they are so dark, and wont lighten up.)

So they stopped the show, and we sat waiting in the down pour. We were informed the show would be canceled, but we could stay there till the storm passed.Of course today I did not pack the ponchos since I thought we would be heading home before the storm came. Those weather people. Why do we listen to them? So we sat there for a good amount of time, it had to be at least a hour. The wind was really picking up, which made it cold.We were cold since we left our jackets at the resort for our flight later. We decide when it was just lightly drizzling to head out of the park. We still wanted to go to DHS and DTD before our flight home. I had yet to pick up some gfts, for a couple of family members. So we headed out of the park with the rest of the guest. I could not believe so many people were leaving the park, I wished me could have stayed. It had to be walk on after that for every ride. Had we not been leaving today, we would have stayed and enjoyed the less crowed park, that is for sure!

DH and I -Just a little wet!
We got on a bus that every single seat was soaked with water. What I did not like was that we waited on the soaking wet bus for 25 minutes while the bus drivers changed shifts. I assume that was what was going on, no on every informed us.I thought this was very non magical! Very undisney like,and I had never experience it before on any other trip. Seemed like we were short on time already today and things were just putting us farther behind.So we finally made our way to DHS. The park was very less crowed today, then any other day we had been there on tour trip. I giess the rain chased people away. By time we got there the rain had stopped. I wanted to see beauty bnad the beast show. We did not get to see it on our last trip. I enjoy this show a lot. We sat and enjoyed some ice cream and popcorn. That is what you eat for lunch in WDW when you are short on time,and had a huge breakfast. Great show as always. After that we tried to see if we could ride on TSM one more time before leaving the world. No luck. So we said goodbye to DHS and took the bus to DTD.

We make it to DTD and it was so cold by the lake. Ok, it does get cold in Florida Mom.I kept thinking to myself. When my Mom lived in Orlando Laughed because she had a fireplace at her condo. Sometimes when I would speak to her on the phone she would say how cold it was down there. So Now I knew what she meant. But look what is still blooming in January in Florida.

DTD was not crowed at all. But al those great sales I saw the couple of days before, were all gone now. They had 50% off of mugs, and now they are regular price. So much for waiting.We want into the world of Disney store and I ended up buying a wine glass for my DN, and a mug for her DH. DD want into the pin trading shop and bought a couple of pins. I bought one too.

Time was going so quick today. We really had to rush around at DTD. I wanted to make a shirt, but knew there was just not the time to this trip.We did a walk through the store,a nd I snap a coupld of pictures. Have to make on next time.The food at all the food places smelled so good. I was getting hungry. But we had to be back to the resort for our magical express pick up.
So no time for earl Of sandwich!

I spotted this bare tree, with gorgeous snapdragons growing so beautiful under it. I love snapdragons, but never have much luck with them at our house the last couple of years.

DH wanted his picture taken with this, and I made DS get in he picture with him. I snap this picture of DS and DD before leabving DTD.

So to the POFQ bust stop we want for the last time. DD and I shared a Mickey coconut bar, they are so yummy.I always bought them to take home to my Mom for house sitting. So I had to buy just a small pack.We waited and waited and waited for a bus back to the resort. DH was starting to get worry. I on the other hand, said Good I don't want to go home. Maybe Mickey does not want me to go home. Which I was ok with. But reality is that I don't have a choice. Wouldn't it be great if I could just say "hey I don't want to go home" and we stayed a another week? That is what I asked DH and the kids will waiting for the bus to DTD. But then a bus came to get us. This had to be the longest bus ride back to the resort. It want to the other side of DTD, and to all the resorts. DH ended up asking him what happens if we miss our ME pick up time. He said a different ME bus would pick us up later. He said Something about, they run on the hour. So darn, I cant even stay, due to missing the ME bus.
We made it back to POFQ in time. The bus was waiting. DH want to get the carry ons and I said goodbye to my new favorite resort. I went and filled up the mug with some hot chocolate. Yes, hot chocolate that is how stinking cold I was that day. I was drinking hot chocolate in Florida.

I teased DH and the bus driver. What if I hold on to this pole,like a child and through a tantrum? Could we stay then? The bus driver laughed DH got on the bus. DD took this picture of me pouting.

Least it was wet and cold and windy today for us to have to go back to yucky cold pennslaiva. It made is just a little easier on me. But as you see not much easier. I knew tomorrow the sun would be out and most liley 84 degrees,and I would be home with a winter coat on and back to reality. The bus pulled out of POFQ, and I was sad. We hit almost every resort to pick up guest. Every stop we would wait for someone who did not show up. I guess there were many guest like myself ,who where just not ready to go home. Off to MCO we go. The bus driver put on the Disney video,and I stared out the window looking at the palm trees passing by. We arrived at MCO, and it was raining again. We want through security, and MCO is always tighter then PHL. Off with the shoes, coats etc.We were starving so we grabbed something to eat in the wonderful food court. We thought about doing a sit down dinner in one of the restaurant, but I was worried we would have to rush. So DH and DS got pizza and DD and I got Chickfila. We walked around and window shopped in a couple of stores. The we took our spots at the terminal. We where not there long before boarding. On the other side of the our flight was a flight to Puerto rico. I kept saying I was going to get on that flight by mistake.I kept hearing these two women sitting behind us saying how on that her husband said the flight was going to be delayed two hours into PHL. I kept giving DH the eye, like great. When we boarded the plane I over heard someone else saying the same thing. The pilot look at me and said boy you look like you need a vacation, I said no I just don't want to leave. He was joking saying what you don't want to go home to 22 degree weather. No not really. Take off was great and we did not hit much tuberlance, with the bad weather. The pilot came on and never said anything about a delay.We actually landed 35 minutes early do to the wind. It was cold dark and gloomy back in Pennsylvania. Back to the real world, back to reality. I miss Disney world!

Welcome home! So hopefully you saw the flights of wonder for me. That will be fun to see your pictures in the same spots. I like getting ones int he same spots on each trip. This trip I missed a lot of places. I am going to post a couple that was then this is now photos soon here.

sorry about the rain we had a downpour day to deal with when we were there too. can't say sorry about flights of wonder there is NO WAY IN *%#$$ you will ever get me anywhere near that show. I DONT DO BIRDS!!! in fact i walk as far away from the theater where its at even.
