What a great "family" reunion we'll have at the DIS meet!

Jan, my thoughts exactly. (I actually talk about people here like I have known them for a lifetime! I was telling my mom that Lois was the "first Buccaneer out" and she left for WDW and was staying a POP.)

We went to dinner with our best friends last night. Our friend Dave is in the Air National Guard and just returned from a tour of duty in Afganistan. He was gone all summer. We are so glad to have him home, safe and sound!!
Anyway, our friends asked us what we were most looking forward to on our cruise.
Chris said food and relaxing and not having to work all week.
I said I was most looking froward to meeting my new friends. They actually looked at me with a puzzled look but when I told them about everyone they smiled and said what a good thing we have going on here!!
I agree.

See you all next week.

Do you think we should wear name tags or something??? Might make it easier at the DIS Meet.

I made Steve and me name tags for our lanyards.

Also, if anyone has extra FE items, we have one more that wishes to join the FE list. CanadianCruiser67/ I will post her cabin number as soon as I hear from her. Thanks!

I think name tags are a great idea! Im never good with names!

This was too funny, had to pass along.

My co-worker is planning a Cruise, I told her CRUISE DISNEY! But she wants another Cruise line... (argh!).
I told her about the Forum and all the great people I have "met" that will be on the Cruise line (even my new neighbor! and she has been looking all morning for a Forum on her other cruise line... LOL!!!

I TOLD YA SO.... Disney all the way!!!!!

Why oh why don't they listen.....!!!

I still have a couple more extras so I am good to go for delivering to CanadianCruiser67!

I have set my "official" time to start vacation at 4:00pm EST next Thursday, so right now the countdown is 8 days-5 hours

I'm glad to hear there are other Parrotheads on board. How exciting to hit 4 margartiavilles on one vacation. Have you ever done the trails of margaritaville tour in Key Wesy? It's kinda cool, we did it last time. Lots of walking though.

Hey Bucs, just thought I would let you know there is a thread on the trip report board that has been started by a fellow who is on the Magic right now (think dry docks upgrades here). Thought you might want to check it out...my hope was that the staterooms were going to get "spruced up" but it looks like that is not the case...happy reading!

Was going to change my reservations for after we get off the ship, but I can't find a hotel in Disney ANYWHERE!!! (except Beach Club and I can't pay over $400 per night. Any recommendations for offsite hotels?

Thought you might want to check it out...my hope was that the staterooms were going to get "spruced up" but it looks like that is not the case...happy reading!

Well...I must say... the trip report about the DM has got me a little worried!!!! I can't believe they would let people board with the pool looking like that!!!! As for the state of the rooms...well...I don't think I will be in our room enough to really have it bother me!

The poster sure gives a bleak image of the Magic, doesn't he? Last week on the Wonder, we thought the Wonder looked so new and fresh.

SOS I am leaving tomorrow to start our disney vacation and the email that a kind diser sent with the cruise avatar did not get to me I think my email provider likes to eat my emails.

Does anyone have one handy right now or a link to where I can print it thanks

We leave in 9 days and counting.

Mindi- We have been so crazy at work this week I have not had a chance to get downstairs. If no nurses call in on Friday, my Dr will be out. will try to get downstairs then. What time do you come in? I am usually there at 730.

We do have a few extra FE gifts will give out as many as I have.

Ask me how excited I am.....please...ask me!!!! Okay I'll tell you!

I was getting discouraged about finding somewhere to stay for three nights after the cruise cause everywhere was booked. On a stray thought, I called Nick Family Resort. Thought "too expensive, but I'll try it".

Lady said AAA rate would get my $25 per day resort fee waived, and the rate would be 243 per night. Holy cow, forget that.... She asked where I lived and when I told her TN she said that b/c I'm AAA SOUTH, I get a better rate.

What's the rate, I asked her. She said...get this....$129 per night!!!!!! ..and no resort fee!!! My kids are dying to stay here, so I think I'm going to try and keep this a secret until we disembark.

This works out so great because there's so much to do at the hotel that we don't have to purchase park tickets or leave the site to have fun, except for Monday night when we go to MNSSHP. Did I mention that I am so EXCITED?!?!?!?!


OH...and Belle, have a safe trip to WDW and we'll see you in TEN days!

Well I didn't see this coming, but I am having surgery tomorrow!

Lauren... hope everything went well. Please post when you are able.

No colored ink in the printer - DRAT. Guess I get to stop tomorrow at some point an pick up another cartridge. I could probably get a new printer for as much as it will cost.

That is exactly what I am planning to do this weekend! My ink cartridges now cost $35 per refill, and are getting harder to find. And to top it all off... my printer SUCKS!! I have one picked out at Wal-Mart, and will go get it on Sat.

Are there people they came to the list late like us that we can make sure to drop something off at there cabin. also is someone making a list for the FE.

If you "late-comers" decide to do your own FE exchange, I do have extras I can deliver. I will need a copy of your list at the 3PM meet.

They called with the results which indicates a complex cyst on my right ovary. They say I need to be seen by my GYN in the next 1-2 weeks.

Don't let it worry you. I'll add you to my prayers. I know it is tough to have something hanging over your head during vacation. When pregnant with Avery, I had an ultrasound the day I was leaving for the beach for a long weekend with family. Found out that she had a "spot" about 2/3 the size of her heart that they suspected was a heart defect. Ruined my weekend! Turned out to be a calcium deposit that was gone completely by the time she was 4 weeks old.
