We can book our excrusions next Saturday night/Sunday Morning. We a just few hours over one week away. Lois

Midnight Eastern time? I just know I got up in the middle of the night for the Thanksgiving cruise and found out I would not have had to do that - once it was like 2:00AM EST. But I will do what I have to do - I will, I will!

I paid both rooms off last week!! The best part was I paid $850.00 of it with my points I had with my Disney rewards card Now I'm ready to make my Palo's brunch reservations.

I am trying my hand at designing my own door decorations. I purchased Printmaster Gold Version 18 and am doing pretty well! I have a few that I designed today.

Found us on page two and that just will not due. I am trying to stay awake so I can try to book my excrusions in about 30 min. I expect to get some of what I want but also expect the system to crash before I am finished. Gotta love it! I will let you all know how I do and if I am able to get what I want. How did you go Lois?
I got the one thing we wanted which was brunch .
Don't know if I'll be as lucky next week cause I'm going to try & get tea .

It was pretty painless for me (helped that it was 4pm on Sunday afternoon, not midnight). I had booked brunch & registered the kids in 10 mins.

Yeah 4pm was great. Sunday afternoon so we were home and not going anywhere. I told the kids they'd have to look after themselves cause I was going online for ages . Was surprised i had done everything in 10mins. I was quite surprised that it was so easy to book though. Lets hope it's easy again this thime.

Hope everyone is having a good day. I just got back from dropping Tucker off at camp. This is his first year at camp, so I hope he does OK. I will pick him up at 10PM on Wed night, and both kids leave at 7AM on Thursday for Chicago.

I didn't book any excursions. We're just going to get off the boat & wander around then have the pools to ourselves (maybe). Decided the extra cost was too much. Mind you maybe it would be cheaper to do one rather than shopping . We might make our way to one of the beaches but on the DD cruise probably not cause we'll have 2 days at Castaway Cay.

I did have a look at the excursion page & they all appeared to still be available so I don't think anyone will have a problem booking.

Tania, I like your idea of having the ship to ourselves on port days. My DH wants to explore the ports, but I am content to grab a movie or play a game of cards with someone as I drink some wonderful concoction from Cove Cafe'

Question for you guys:

I'm planning on registering my kids online for the kids clubs, but I know I'm going to ask that matthew be moved to the 8 year old group in the Lab. He will be 8 in February and is the youngest of 4 boys, so he's normally around older kids. I know he wouldn't enjoy being in the younger club without his brothers, nor would he enjoy the activities in the club like he would in the Lab.

My question is...should I wait until the port to register my kids so I can ask about moving him up or register them now online and ask for him to be switched later?

Ohh Lori, that sounds like a great idea, drinking something from Cove Cafe with no one around . I'm a bit worried about taking DD any where near shops .
I'm also thinking about the mini golf in Cozumel (was that the place?), something close by that we can do at our own pace .

Regarding the kids registration - I would probably register him online just so they have the info already and it's all set up. Then try & do the swap at the port. In my mind it's always easier if they already have the info in their system, but that's just me .

I think I would register him for his age group, then call and see if they would switch it. I would be afraid to wait and do it at port in case his age group fills up.

I had emailed the mini golf place in Cozumel, but never got a response from them as to their prices. I don't think I am going to book anything through DCL except MAYBE the pirate ship in Grand Cayman. I am really torn as to doing that or the semi-sub. I know the kids will love the semi-sub... but seeing that pirate ship from the Magic, then actually being able to get on it... too many choices! Other than that, we are planning to find our way to the beach or just wander around the port. My kids love the beach, so they will be thrilled to go there every day.

For returning cruisers... Do you think I am safe to go ahead and order my fish extender gifts? I don't want to order and then we get others sign up, and I not have enough.

kari, if your gifts aren't too much, I would order a few extra so you would have more if we get more DIS cruisers. If we don't, you can always use them as "pixie dust" gifts for strangers.

I am excited because we're going to make our countdown poster today. We've been collecting Mickey paint chips for a while, so we're using those on our poster. It's going to be so cute!

Have fun making your countdown calendar today. We may do something like that after the kids get home from Chicago next week. My final payment is due July 14th. I think we will celebrate by going to get our passports! I think we are going to just do the Passport ID, since it is pretty much a guarantee that we won't travel out of the country for quite a while.

Kari, I put together my FE gifts this past weekend & I did make a few extras just in case we get additional people towards the end!
Also, I just wanted to Thank You for mentioning on a prior post about Print Master for the door signs. I picked up a copy over the weeknd. It was just what I was looking for-Vista compatible, inexpensive & not too over my head! I made some beautiful signs that I sure wish I could post but unfortunately, since they are PDF format, I cannot post them. I can just attach them to am email. I guess I'll have to show them on October 4th!

We got in yesterday from our successful and fun family reunion. We're tired but happy.

A quick note, if you are a CC member. Make sure that Disney has you listed as a CC member as it will affect whether you can make your ressies at the 90 day mark or not. Also, you cannot make Palo or any other ressie if your cruise is not paid in full. Just an FYI.

I wonder if I have to list my DH and I as CC members or just me. There are two boys in each of the cabins, so I bet I have to register both of us to get all four boys registerd for the kids' clubs.

For some reason, David didn't get a number, so I'm just going to try to use one of the boys' numbers when I register him as a CC member.

Thanks for the reminder, I think I'm going to go ahead and pay ours off this week. I don't know that I'll sign up for any excursions, but at least I can if I want to.
