No kit here either. I emailed my agent to ask when it might arrive...no response yet.

I missed the signing up for the Fish extenders. Can I stil get my party on the list? If so any recommendations for what I should drop in?

Thank You Gail for taking on this group activity, sorry I won't be able to join you all.

I would like to remind everyone who may be interested that they will still have to make their own Palo brunch reservation. Gail is not making your reservation for you.
But, she is submitting a request for the private dining room for those who have booked their reservations on that Monday and have asked her to included them in this group activity.
She will need a total of 12 to 14 people interested before she can even submit the request.
So how's about it folks, join in on the fun, make your Palo Brunch ressies for Monday, anytime is good, Palo will connect you all together for a very special brunch.
Keep in mind not many people get the opportunity to have their Palo brunch in the special private dining room.

I booked our cruise with Disney Vacation Club points maybe that's why we got our planning package before others.

Hi everyone, I haven't had time to post lately, my youngest son is transfering to a college in Atlanta and it's a pain. I think we finally got everything done. I'm not looking forward to him moving to Atlanta, but I know I have to let him start his life. Oh well don't want to think about it right now, he doesn't move till August. Then I've got my Disney cruise 2 months later.

Waeagle- I'll be staying at the Raddison the night before. It will be DH,DS & I in one room, My SIL, Her DD and a friend of hers in the other room.

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to bring for the fish extender gift. Any Ideas? Pam

Hope you all are having a great Saturday. DS (10) is in the finals of the baseball tournament Monday. He made the last 2 outs last night to win the game. We are so excited. This is his first year to play kid-pitch, but 5th year to play. He normally does not play 3rd base, but did last night. On top of this, he was playing while recovering from strep. He is a tough guy.

We have a busy day here. I am planning to finish doing some cleaning and then later DH has someone he works with coming to look at building a cabinet in our bonus room. We have a space (a nook) that I want to make an entertainment center with shelves and storage for games, toys, etc. Hopefully we can get things worked out and can get this built this summer.

I do have one request of everyone. A fellow teacher and good friend of mine is going through a lot right now and needs everyone's prayers. Her brother-in-law and his family, who live in Venezuela, were robbed, tied up at gun-point and then their 7 year old daughter (my friend's niece) was kidnapped. They paid a ransom, but the little girl was not returned. This happened Tuesday and they still have no clues about where she is. Please pray for this family.

Oh Gena! How terrible. I can't imagine going through that agony. We will certainly remember them in our prayers. Please keep us updated.

I was going to post a silly post about being ecstatic about being out of school (finally), but thinking about that family just put everything in perspective.

Gene, your friend's and her family will have my prayers no question. I Can't even think about they terror they must be feeling. The longer that little girl is gone the smaller the chances of her being returned safe and sound. We will all need to pray for a true miracle for her and her parents. That story brought tears to my eyes. God can work miracles so until we know the outcome I will keep a positive thought. Lois

Gena, I will keep that family in my prayers also, don't give up hope, I have heard of stories from South Africa where children were returned after many ransoms, in some countries it is sadly common.
On a different note, we paid off our cruise yesterday and were able to change our staterooms so that we are in the same ones for the two weeks, We will only have to pack up once istead of twice. So our room #s have changed to 2573 and 2605 for my parents.

Gena - my prayers are with your friends' family.

It has been SO hot here the last few days. Yesterday was 102, and today 103. We were out all day yesterday, as Avery had a girl scout party at the lake, then we had a graduation party for my niece last night. At least today we were able to stay inside!

Tania - I am envious. Yours found you half way around the world and I can't even get a Castaway Club card much less a cruise kit! Sort of sad - but I am happy for you !

Nasty weather here over the weekend. We had several tornadoes touch down I guess and several warnings off and on over the weekend. Kristie was in Flint yesterday and the alarms were going off due to the storms and high winds. But 102 and 103 - my blood is just not that thin.

Morning all,

Hotter than Haiti's here. I don't mind the heat, it's the June Flies that I can't deal with. I got bite 6 times yesterday. Nasty things bite hard and draw blood.
Ashley gets out of school on Thursday, we can't wait.

I'm off to pick up supplies for the DISNEY CRUISE bathroom we are doing for the kids. I have a few things on the list to put in the cruise box. My sister's birthday was yesterday. I gave her matching embarkation t-shirts for her present. She received her cruise planning kit Saturday. I think she is finally starting to get excited! I can't imagine her not being excited with me for a sister.

I just have to say...It's Monday morning and I'm not in school!!!!!

Gena, I requested prayer for your friend's neice yesterday in Sunday School. We're all praying for her return.

Gena, sorry to hear about your ordeal, my thought are with you and I hope all turns out well.

I'm going to try and post a family picture hopefully it works, I've never done this before so we'll see! LOL
