10/4/08-Buccaneers Take the West! Cruiser List in Post #1

I offered after we return to do a Christmas mailing list and send it to everyone. I would like to get that taken care of by Thanksgiving so if you have not sent me your address and would still like to participate, please send me a PM with the information along with your email address so that I can send you the list.

Have a great rest of the week. We are having Indian Summer but it appears that tomorrow winter arrives. How lucky can a girl get???

Hey everyone! I, like others have mentioned, I haven't been checking the DIS as much lately. Life has been crazy, but the prevailing reason is the lack of a DCL trip to anticipate. It sure takes the wind out of your sails (no pun intended).

Kari, I am so sorry about your sister. I lost my friend Pam almost two weeks ago. For a week, we were either at their house, the hospital, or the funeral home when we weren't at work. It is so physically draining on top of the emotional toil you go through. I will certainly be lifting you up in prayer.

Isn't it great that on the DIS politics don't matter so much? I was in the minority on the vote this year, but we all love each other just the same.

Miss you guys,
Ginger

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I know I'm early but things tend to get hectic as Thanksgiving Thursday approaches and I didn't want the time to pass without telling you all that I was thinking of you.

We all have so much for which to be thankful.

Love and best wishes to you all,

Denise and Steve

Don't forget if you would like to be on the Christmas Card list to get me your name and mailing address along with your email so I can send it to you.

Everyone take care and I hope Fall has treated you well. Thankgiving already - how can it be???

The Christmas card list will go over the weekend so if you would like to participate, please be sure you have sent me your mailing address along with your email address so I can get the list to you.

And yes, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! Even with our post-cruise duldrums, we have much to be thankful for.

Good day from Indiana. Today Janet and I get to go see the stage preformance of The Lion King!!! We could not find tickets we liked at a cost we liked in Kansas City but we found them here. So we are going to the 1 PM show today. I am so excited!

I will post more later if I get a chance, Lois

All I can say after seeing the show is OMG!!!

Hi Glinda, just concerned I haven't received anything this weekend. Did you get my email address?

:confused3

Hello all!
Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the USA.

Looks like we will be Cruising again, unfortunately not on Disney.
Our trip will begin on the 3rd of April, 2010.

The cost for the same Cruise with my friend Jack and her son Marc joining us on Disney (not same itinerary but close) was well over $12,000.00 so we have opted to Cruise MSC Cruises going through Ft Lauderdale to Nassau, ST. Maarten, San Juan and Tortola.

The cost is a mere $899 for 7 days with a balcony and the kids (under 17) sail free.
The wine package is cheaper and on RCCL and it is an Italian Line, so the staff is all wonderfully lovely Italian men and the ship (the Magnifica) will be complete in 2009.

We are totally looking forward to it, although Im certain I will be longingly looking east towards Castaway Cay when we sail by it....

But with the difference being around $5000 we can't say no.

Maybe if Disney relaxes on some of their prices, we can look at them again in a few years.

Hope everyone is doing well. Christmas a mere 31 days away!
:santa:

Gail,

Thank you for doing the Christmas list for us all. It was so sweet of you to take on the task.

Lois,

How was the Lion King? I would love to see that too.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The Lion King was very very good. If you get a chance to see it I recommend that you go. We were at 5th row center and I felt just a little too close. I would have liked to have been at about 10 to 15 rows back. They also had a very interesting use of masks. Scar had a mask that would set on top of his head and would then move down in front of his face based on his body position. The costumes were great.

We paid almost 80.00 per ticket but had a blast. Today we leave to go to Janet's dad's house. We will be there until Saturday. I do not know if I will have access to internet connection until we get home.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We will touch base when we get home until I can do it sooner. Lois
