10/31/10 Halloween Wonder

Hi everyone!!

Just wanted to introduce myself, we (DH, DS and I) just booked this past Sunday and now that we have everything straightened away I can come on here and get excited.

This trip started as a last minute WDW trip and morphed into 2 days Disney, 4 day cruise!! I have to return to work a week after we get back so the cruise and trip is my DH way of keeping from freaking out

This will be our third Disney cruise, we've done the 7 night western and the 3 night wonder. We are sooooo excited!!!!

My little one will be almost 14 months when we sail so if there are any other babies out there, DS loves having buddies

Question for everyone since I'm so far behind on planning and research, what kind of clothes are you bringing, what should the weather/temperature be like???? Thanks

We also just booked this cruise..as far as clothes it will be in the high 80's during the day but I would bring a light jacket for the evenings after the sun goes down it can get cool.

Hey all! Sorry things have been busy at work...I cannot wait until this Cruise!!

We called Cruise Line today and they still have not assigned us a cabin. However 2 of our friends had to bail out so you can knock off Val and Pablo as well as one cabin. I'll let you all know when I know - trust me the suspense is killing me the most!!

Oh no, sorry your friends had to bail. I'll update the list and re-send. I also need to update a cabin number for Vtinkerbell. For some reason I keep reversing her stateroom number!! Can't have her not getting gifts! Sorry!!
I'll send another one out this weekend with Vtink's (Josie's) correct stateroom number.

Just because I'm anal about everything I needed to check the port status!

There is only one other ship in port with us that day!!! The port should be relatively empty!!!! There are 5 ships in port one day later in the week but only 2 for us!!!

Welcome aboard. We are also from Ottawa and are leaving Friday for Animal Kingdom Lodge for 2 days before the cruise. I hope it is dryer down south, we have had so much rain in the past month.

Hey nice to see someone from our neck of the woods!! We're staying at Pop for three nights before (we leave Ottawa on Thursday) and POR for one night after the cruise and then head home on Friday the 5th

Who are you flying with? I hope the weather is nice as well, can't wait for some sunshine

Now we're cooking Allison!!!

The board seems to have come alive!!!

Clothing? should I be stressed (BTW Allison I did buy a jacket last month- you would have to read a few pages back for the reference) I want to bring tan chinos with button down shirts maybe a sweater? I am so conflicted. (not really) But it's hard to pack for three days at the world then a cruise. with one suitcase and one with cameras, Ipad, etc.

I just realized while I was typing three weeks from today I'll be getting ready for MNSSHP!!!! WOOT!

My day just got brighter!

Off to teach theater to germ filled kids!! LOL! I love the first few weeks of school!

We are staying at POP too the night before..We LOVE Pop Century we stay there all the time even though we only live 40mins away Maybe we will see you around.

We are flying with UA with a stop in Charlotte, but the stop is less than 1 hour, so not bad. This will be our first trip alone, usually travel with DFL & DS, but not this time.

Not to worry about the clothing. We're going cruise casual for this trip. DH will probably just end up in nice shorts and hawaiian type shirts. The Magic is dressier for dinner. We're doing 8 nights at the campground afterwards so I need to pack most of our clothes in the RV and then pack a suitcase for the boat.

Of course DD wants to wear her costume for the school parade on the day we are leaving. I'm so crazy about packing that I offered to buy her another one so I could pack the first one. I thought this was a great idea. Apparently she didn't think so. And I won't be home during the day so she is tasked with making sure it gets in the carryon for the trip.

Oh yeah for the new cruisers, while you should get your luggage early enough in the day they sometimes deliver it late to your stateroom!!! Which means that you might not get the costumes in time for the party! We're putting our costumes in our carry-on bags. Only the kiddos are going in full costume. Rest of us have t-shirts or the like so no biggie.

3 weeks from today we are leaving for Florida!!!

I am so excited for you. In the past week I've been sick as a dog and last night coming out of work some (Beep Beep) hit my car while i was at work no note just a hit and run!!! I am so upset. I need this cruise/vacation to come quick I feel like Eeyore with a cloud over my head. first the laundry loses two weeks of my cloths, two people die my car getting hit, working 12 hour days 7 days a week- and because of the car the only bright spot I had was going to be Monday - I was going to see my niece and nephew in CT and now I can't I have an appointment with the body shop and insurance adjuster.

So let's pray for nice weather and calm seas for our trip! Uncle Tony is going to need an adult beverage or two before this trip begins!!!!

I got all excited about Tangle but then saw it wasn't for another month. Nuts! But we are excited about every other one (except Oceans). I think DD and I will be spending some late nights at the theater!!!

Safe travels! We're at 20 days now!!
And we're going back to WDW too. Stay at Fort Wildnerness campground and checking out on 11/12.

17 days to go. In the light the car doesn't look as bad but still need to go body shop.

Hey one more thing to keep me busy so I won't obsess. Lol!

Maybe I could squeeze one more project in besides packing.
