10/27 2012 A little Halloween MAGIC!

A Beat Street crawl sounds like a ton of fun! My cousin's wife and I are going and we're hoping there will be plenty of fun people to meet. This will be my 8th Disney cruise and her first. I can't wait!!

Silly question here what is a Beat Street Crawl? Thanks!

From the notes I have Pirate night is on the 4th night while Halloween is on the 5th. Hubby and I are going to Palo on Pirate night but we ARE packing Halloween costumes!!

I talked to Disney tonight. Formal night is night 2, Pirate is night 4, semi formal night 6. They are having special Halloween events, ie trick-or-treating and a costume contests. They would prefer Disney oriented costumes (of coarse!!!).

Thank you so much for the info! I'm so excited! Now I have to figure out a fun Halloween costume that doesn't take up too much room in my suitcase. The boots for my pirate costume add 4-5 lbs but they make the costume rock!

Just wanted to say hello. We recently booked the cruise. It will just be my dh and me...no kids this time. It's our first cruise just adults, my dh 2nd Disney cruise and my 3rd. We are looking forward to it! Trying to plan some fun adult activities...Palo, spa etc. Don't think we'll do the FE this time. Our kiddos really enjoyed it last cruise, so I would definitely recommend it to families with kids.

There will be 5 of us. Myself DSx3 (9,5,5) and grandma. We are doing a back 2 back with the cruise just prior to this on the 20th. Looking forward to Halloween onboard the ship. The kids say they want to be pirates! Have tried to tell them they get to be pirates twice already and we should find a different Halloween costume but they aren't budging.... will have to work on them. Will try to catch up with the thread from beginning to end over the next few days & see if FE is planned or anything else :)

We are traveling with Grandma too!:thumbsup2

Hi everyone, this is our first Disney Cruise and first with DS4. We are looking forward to join FE group but don't know where do we sign up, and also we booked on a GTY stateroom so we don't know when we will get our room number (first cruise with DCL) . Thanks in advance for any information, we are so excited about this because we love Halloween and Disney. Greetings from Monterrey, Mexico.

Welcome! The FE group is organized by Angie (AngieEstaAqui), and you can join by adding your family to the spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhdqVUBx7E8OdDR4Z29tSmRUNS1hNWs4REFObkxZMFE#gid=0

I added us on to the FE sign up :) started getting my FE surprises together today.
Need to sort out shore excusions soon

Some have been asking about FE splits and cutoff. Just to clarify:

We'll cut off the list on Sept. 27. At that time, if the list has greater than fifteen participating cabins, we'll split as necessary. If we split, anyone who wishes to be in more than one group is certainly welcome to. No group will have more than fifteen participating cabins, however.

If someone wishes to join after Sept. 27, they are welcome to. However, it will be with the caveat that they may not receive gifts from everyone in their group, as many will have already finished their FE preparations.

As I mentioned before, I will send out floor plans with participating cabins indicated approximately 2 weeks prior to sailing.

Again, you can access the FE participant list here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhdqVUBx7E8OdDR4Z29tSmRUNS1hNWs4REFObkxZMFE#gid=0

Hope this clarifies any questions anyone may have had.

Thank you for the information, already add my family to the FE list... very happy to join everyone in this adventure...:yay:

Hi everyone! I don't post often, but DH and I just booked this cruise the other week when the great travel agent rates came out...

We are so excited!! We return from a combo Disney World/Disneyland trip on Oct 7 and then 3 weeks later drive down to Galveston and get on The Magic!! We live on the north side of Houston so this is super exciting!! I can't believe we get to get on a Disney ship just 1.5 hours from our house.

btw, we will be blogging this trip report on our website www.mouseventures.net Yay!

I am new of this board as well! Have been reading all the posts but finally found some time to sign up. The FE exchange sounds awesome. We always wondered how all the cabins looked so decorated and fun things were being left on everyone's stateroom. My 3 year old will be very excited to participate...not to mention the DH...LOL...
Glad to meet all of you. I have sent a FB request as well!

We will be travelling from Canada btw!! :)

See the below..we are looking for poeple to share a sailing charter in the Caymen....looking to do stingrays, and a few snorkel spots. I am asking for his suggestions too.

Reviews look great...already heard he is available and great communication from him.

let me know if you are interested. (I will post in cruise critic and facebook too - so don't be surprised if you see it multiple times)
