10/26/2013 - A Western Fantasy Halloween Cruise

Congratulations.

We had originally booked for the week after Thanksgiving but could not go. Here was the conversation with my boss.

ME: I have to change that week after Thanksgiving to Halloween week.

Boss: I can't give you that week.

ME: I already paid, I don't know what I will tell the kids. I don't know what I will do, its too late to change anything. The kids are going to be....

Boss: GASP! Fine go.


Game... Set... Match

I'm lucky - when I input my vacation time into our leave system, 4 mins later I got the approval notice from my manager.

Lucky both of you! I get a smile, maybe a laugh and with that a NO! Then, I have to go beg other people to take my shift which sometimes involves flowers, small gifts, or baked goods!

I know that the admin has had some health issues and is not feeling well last few days. I also posted to allow you to join when she can...are you interested in a mixology class? They are doing signups for that group now on the Facebook page. Two on the 27th, one one the 31st. They last one hour and I heard they were a lot of fun. Being a latecomer, they prob only have the 31st available (this was started about two months ago) I think the time is 4 to 5. (we are in this slot). If you are interested, let me know with names and I could try to ask for a space for you if you don't get to Facebook soon.
