I haven't sifted through all 39 pages of this thread. Is there a FE list going? If so is it in a different thread?

This will be my mom/step dad's first cruise so I want to get them all set up as well as add my room to the list!

Unfortunately, the FE list (which has been running through our cruise Facebook page) closed a few days ago. I would look it up on Facebook for all the info! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

We will be on this cruise, I didn't sign up for any meets because we are going with 2 other families and I didn't want to "make" them go... is that rude of me?

You don't have to sign up for the Meet & Greet. You just show up if you feel like meeting some other families. If you don't you don't, we won't think any less of you!!

Just relax and pretend you are on vacation. . . in a world where you can do whatever you want. . . because you earned it (I know I have!!)!!

Did you see the thread on them creating a couple more HA rooms on the Magic during Dry Dock? Have you and your parents thought about going back on the Magic?

We are probably going to book "dummy date" until the 10/2015 cruises are released. Linda really wants to try the AquaDunk. . . I'm thinking I'm skipping that one . . .

I'm always happy to see more HA rooms on any ship. I do want to try out the "new" Magic - that ship was our first and so far our favourite. Fingers crossed that the new HA rooms aren't at the very back of the ship (not my favourite place to be). It would be nice if the balcony was mid-ship - I'd be all over that one!

I think I have my cousin convinced to take a DCL cruise in 2015 so I'll be booking 2 dummy cruises (unless the 2015 dates magically come out before our cruise) to move to either September or October 2015.

Finished my FE gifts this week-end (half of it was made / half of it was purchased). Now that the FE group is re-opened I'm very glad that I made extra so hopefully the final list will be 71 or less (cause if not, I need to find something else to give to the others).

There were 66 and then 1 of the "alls" dropped out so that left 65 (not including us). Right now, I am good with everyone on the reopened list but I think I will ask Ruben about closing the list by the 26th of this month (1 month prior to the cruise) to make sure that there is enough time for everyone to finalize their gifts and the list.

I wasn't really thrilled about re-opening the list but I can understand because it did seem to close really early.

I had made 5 extra anyways (even before knowing that the list was being reopened) in case I messed any of them up. They all turned out fine so I can use all 71 of them.

I still need to purchase more of the purchased part but found a place that I can order and pick them up instead of paying for shipping again (that was killer - I had to pay horrendous brokerage fees because the company shipped by UPS even though they said they would send by USPS). I'm paying more per unit but when I take out the shipping costs and brokerage charges, it comes up about the same. I do need to place the order 3 weeks before the pick up date to make sure they can get them in (because they order them from the US) so I want to order soon because we also have a stat holiday in October (Canadian Thanksgiving) which can mess up shipping a little.

At this point, I'm very glad that I went with a cabin gift this time instead of individual gifts
