10/26/2013 - A Western Fantasy Halloween Cruise

This looks like the most fun for my 8 yo twins and DS10. Do I need to make reservations or just show up? Anyone else on DIS going with kiddos my kiddos age? :)

We stopped there one time when we were staying in cozumel! We don't have any kids but loved watching them all playing on the things in the ocean!

You don't need to make a reservation. If you go there and are sitting on the beach, they will come up to you and ask if you want to get the armband for the day.

Welcome Kstaack, Kimatiu and KED:welcome:

DH and I like to have a few drinks in the evening but we are always far too full to drink much after a big dinner that late on.

It's all about the booze for you isn't it:drinking1 That's why we get along so well :lmao:

My DH and I did this on our 2010 cruise, your kids will LOVE it! :thumbsup2We are doing Nochi Cocom this time around.

We are doing Paradise Beach. We have two kids, DD10 and DD7. We should meet and take a van over. I would feel safer with another family. Not that Cozumel is awful but you can never be to safe, especially when the kids are along.

:rotfl: WhitGB, I have DH and 8 yo twins DS/DD and 10 yoDS and we are also thinking of going to PB! How many can a van accomodate?

I always let Guests Services know where we are going if doing a non Disney tour and most important ETA no matter which port or part of the world we are, Then if I say 4 pm I plan to be back at 3 pm.

What is good entertainment with 8 and 10 yo that does not involve using a Disney excursion?:scratchin

still working out the excursions before I start booking the 28th! Thx!

I'll look for the FB link as well, but I wanted to pop in and say HI! I thought I had been to this thread before as we've been booked since January, but I apparently I haven't!

This is our third DCL cruise and second on the Fantasy. We will be celebrating my son's 9th birthday on Oct 26 and an early celebration for my husband's birthday (Nov. 6). This is a celebratory cruise for us as my husband will be just back from a one year deployment!

Booze + Food = C R U I S E
(Isn't that the formula for a FANTASTIC Vacation?!!)

It certainly is :thumbsup2

I had a minor panic then - thought you meant you were booking on 28th June and I was well behind the curve :rotfl2:

Welcome :cool1:

LOL Wilma! I am just happy to thave the little reminder on the Disney Cruise info on when I can start booking the excursions and stuff! It has been so long since making the reservation for the cruise, I am choppin at the bit for next week! I am also debating getting the cabana since I can book early! First cruise so want to live it up, but already going concierge and don't know if cabana is worth its extra! I have never been to Castaway and I don't want to feel isolated over there. Looks like all the fun is in the main area! Any thoughts on this?

We will be dressing up but not decided yet. pirate:

Hello All,
We are new to DISboards and this is our 1st Disney Cruise. WE just booked this cruise last week. I've been on many cruises (over 15) but never on Disney...so we are excited!
Traveling will be me (Nicole), my husband Carl, our son Nicholas (5) and our daughter Juliana (2.5).
Looks like I need to join the FB group for this sailing. Is there anything else I am supposed to do? It seems like there is a lot to learn about a Disney Cruise!
Thanks!
Nicole
