Mr. AFEG, I meant to tell you I'm impressed that you know your Tellatubbies. I had to look up Tinky Winky.

Maybe you just remember TW because he was your hero - you know, the purple one that caused a lot of controversy.

Now I don;t remember AEFG with a handbag/purse!

Hey, here's another cruise related question (gotta have those every once in awhile on here):

Where is everyone thinking of staying the night before the cruise?

We did Ron Jon last time, but unless we come in early on Friday morning, I think it will be the Country Inn or Radisson this time.

No idea!

Awesome Job Andy!

Well, I've finally found you guys! I didn't know about the new rules on long threads. So, I couldn't figure out what happened to my reminder emails. I figured out that I would look into it after vacation.

We just spent a week at Disneyland. It was awesome. I think that the Disney CM's in Anaheim have really stepped up their game, the customer service was amazing. We had a great time just relaxing in the park in no real hurry to go anywhere. (6 days in a small park like Disneyland leaves you plenty of time) We broke away from DL for a short time on Wednesday night and went to a dinner theater called Pirates Dinner Adventure. That was very fun. Food was so so but the performers worked hard at including the audience in many of aspects of the performance so the kids had a great time. Thursday (Valentines Day) I almost decided to take the day off from the park. (The idea didn't go over too well with the kids) But, we went anyway and were glad we did. We met some friends in the park, which was a nice surprise and later after when we were exiting from the Matterhorn the Disney Dream Team was there handing out invitations to stay in the park after hours. We met in the Festival Arena. (a place in Disneyland that I had never seen before and didn't even know existed) We were told that they only handed out about 3000 of the invites. At exactly 1/2 hour after the park closing they let us out to wander a completely empty park. All rides were open and it was always a "walk directly on." (except finding Nemo, it still found a line!) The whole family went to Space Mountain then we split up, Stuart and I ran to Indiana Jones and rode it then since there was no line, the CM's asked us if we wanted another go-round (YEAH!) Then we went looking for Laura and Leah, who managed Buzz Lightyear, Peter Pan, Dumbo, and Alice in Wonderland before running out of time. Even with aprox 3000 people in the park, Stuart and I were alone in Adventureland and then alone in the hub waiting for the girls. Absolutely Amazing. I doubt that I will ever have another experience like that again.

Well, we've been home for a week now and I am already having Disney withdrawls.

Steve!

Good to see you...glad you found us.

DL for a week - fun! We *may* be going to Arizona for a week at Christmas and driving up to Anaheim for 2 days at DL. Still waiting to see if we can afford it....we're having to do some unexpected home repairs.

I do have a question for you - if we only have 2 days, is it worth spending any time at DCA? Have you ever gone around Christmastime?

It's a good job you didn't mention that at the terminal. They wouldn't of let you on.

I know.........I didn't have a fever, just a very sore throat. I saw the ship's doc on Tuesday morning because I wasn't feeling any better and he said it was a bad ulcer on the side of my throat, he didn't even give me any extra meds for it. I told him I had anti-inflammatory(sp) medication for my knees and he told me to double up on that for a few days. By Thursday I was able to swallow again.

Hi everyone!

I'm too lazy to go back and quote or multi-quote...

I like the idea of a Sunday DISmeet - I did feel the 3pm Saturday meet was rushed. Of course, DH missed the whole thing because DS was in the Mickey pool. I also like the idea of meeting in the port - I think that's where I met half the KKers anyway!

If I have my way (and don't get slowed down by the rest of my group) I forsee a 9:30 or so arrival at port. I actually thought it was pretty cool getting there when it was so empty (and yes, that was my #2 boarding pass that found its way to Robin and Mike - my Mom did the cruise docs online but didn't print the final page so she had to fill them out again).

I don't know if we'll be staying by the port this time or by the airport, again, it depends on when everyone gets in to Orlando. Last time, it was more practical to stay near the airport, as Mom's flight came in later. If we're at the port, I'll be at the meet - I'm in the early riser gang!

Howdy Jen, yeah, we had another fun time yesterday and last night on the thread...........:joker: :joker: :joker:

I can see that!

I think I caught up on everything, sounds like we're having a DISmeet at the terminal, on Sunday, and WAY too early in the morning on the 24th, right? Did I miss any other decisions/suggestions?

Well, I have to go start my day....DS spent the night at Grams's house with his cousins, but they have church this morning so I have to pick him up early. I'll try to check back later!

I agree the new character breakfast stinks. I liked it when the characters came to your table. Diane

Thanks Nan, I think so too. But I should have known we were headed for trouble from the time the very first school photo was taken for Kindergarten. Angelina didn't like the way mom tried to fix her hair in the morning, so I always did it(early on that is). Angelina "did not" want hairspray in her hair before going to school the morning of her school pic. Dad however, had different plans, so the hairspray was put on. Needless to say, Angelina left for school in tears. Her teacher called the house and wanted to make sure everything was OK at home, because Angelina got off the school bus still in tears. Hazel explained what happened, and the teacher got a chuckle out of that. At least she was in a somewhat better mood when the pic was taken. I wound up taking off work at noon that day and took Angelina to McDonald's as a peace offering. This kid gets me everytime...........:upsidedow  :upsidedow
