We already have Angelina signed up and deposit has been made for her to start Massage Therapy School starting this coming September.

What a pity she's not cruising with us - she could have earned a fortune massaging all the bobers all week.

Jen--I wish I had been paying closer attention, but I was really tired and didn't catch everything that was said, but I believe what was done that double the amount of red blood cells were extracted. I was hooked up to a machine and I know some fluids were also pumped back into my arm after the blood was removed. I was told the blood cells that were removed can be frozen and be kept for up to 10 years.

I also signed up to be contacted about being a Platelet Donor, which is something that can be done about every 14 days, and the first donation can be made 4 days after a regular blood donation. The woman I spoke with said someone from the Red Cross will be calling me soon to set up an appointment, this takes between 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours to complete.

Good for you Andy - My sister would be proud of you:thumbsup2 You are donating to a very worth while and needy cause - heres a big hug from me for doing it:hug:

Good morning everybody - I hope you all have nice plans for the weekend:goodvibes

Neil was yet again up at 5.30 and gone by 5.45 to work - he's exhausted - poor guy has no idea what time he's finishing today cos it has to be done and completed whatever time it takes. He works too hard:sad2:

Ellis and I are just having a quiet day today - I did most of the housework yesterday so just a bit of :laundy: and dusting and vacuuming and I'm all done for the day. Ellis actually likes polishing:thumbsup2

Its sunny this morning but very cold. The poor plants in the garden havent a clue whether to hibernate or start growing cos its warm and springlike every other day. I hope everyones snow is disappearing and it warms up a little for you all. I must say I'm sick of winter now....roll on summer!

Oh...I lost 2 pound this morning:confused3 - last week I put 3 pound on and yet I was good all week,...this week I have eaten loads of choc and cheesecake and cheese sauce and I've lost 2lb:confused3 :confused3 - my body is wierd:rolleyes1

I'll be hitting the gym on Monday morning and hopefully every day next week...its easier when Ellis is at school to cook healthy meals too so hopefully next week I'll be reporting another loss. I'm half way through chapter 1 of Dr Phils weight loss book - he talks about what sort of person are you - eg - do you blame everything on yourself and your lack of willpower (thats me) or do you blame external sources for your weight. Its quite interesting so far... I just need to get to the chapter which actually tells you how to lose the blooming weight and I'll be happy:rotfl:

Happy Saturday everyone:goodvibes

Good Morning All.............:wave2:

I guess all the extra walking I did at work this week paid off in more ways than one, I made some extra $$ and also lost 4 pounds this week........:thumbsup2

I'll be leaving here in about an hour to go to work, I'll check in from time to time today when I can, have a great day everyone..............

I finally went and took a pic of my house. I think we're moving on the 26th.

Wow, that looks great.

Di beat me to WWW goal...:thumbsup2

I have 2.4 to goal..."The Girl Scout Cookies that Di held me down and made me eat the whole two boxes"...:lmao:

Walt :cool1:

Congratulations Di....come on Walt not far to go. And....put down those cookies.

Good going both of you. I wish I could say the same...but I stayed the same. All this exercise, which I hate, and I don't loose a thing.

Oh well. Don't give up.

It's sunny but very cold today and Rick and I are going to visit my Nephew, his wife and my Great Nephew who is two next week. I take some pics if I get chance and post them tomorrow. Have a good day everyone.

Hello everyone...

I'm feeling a bit better this morning....hopefully I'll get over this little cold soon.

Way to go Di on reaching goal! And all the Bobalosers....:cheer2:

Not too much going on this weekend...swim lessons for Thomas this morning, and then this afternoon we'll be going over to our friends' house. We get together with the same group of friends every Saturday, to talk, play cards (poker) or board games, and have dinner. Usually we order out or get take out, but tonight we're all bringing taco fixin's and making dinner. I'm in charge of the taco meat (beef and chicken).

We don't have any plans for Sunday yet, maybe we'll all go swimming at the gym, and pretend we're someplace warmer! :sunny:

Woo Hoo!
FAFSA done:thumbsup2

You know what's a shame though.....
you can enter all your income, investments, etc....
but no where can you tell them how in DEBT you are:mad:
NOT FAIR!:headache:

Oh Rose, I do remember that FAFSA form. It was such a headache.:headache: And all that very personal info you had to supply. That form gets into the wrong hands and we're doomed. Yes, I do agree it is very unfair not to ask about the debts too. :sad2:

Just arrived home from the blood center. I was there over two hours, I was asked if I would be willing to do a Double Red donation, I said, "Sure, why not." It was my first time doing it, good thing I didn't have any plans for tonight, took a bit longer than a regular donation, and I also felt a bit light headed when I was finished, but I'm feeling much better now..........:goodvibes

Double  for making the Double Red list. I told you you were one popular guy Andy. :cool2:

Di beat me to WWW goal...:thumbsup2

I have 2.4 to goal..."The Girl Scout Cookies that Di held me down and made me eat the whole two boxes"...

Walt :cool1:

Almost there Walt. You're looking great!!!:thumbsup2

Enjoy your visits and please post pictures. You know we all love 'em.:cloud9:

Another weekend of errands and nursing home visits before the snow falls again tomorrow. I did hear this morning that the 13 inches we were expecting again might only be about 6. So far SE Wisconsin has had 76 inches of snowfall this season. :scared1:

Chuck and Tony coach a boy's basketball team for Kristin's old grade school. They were awarded the #1 seed for a huge tournament amongst Catholic grade schools in Wisconsin. Teams come from all over the state for this tourny. The tournament begins early next month but now they are involved in other smaller tourny's until then. So I will be a basketball widow for the next few weeks. I plan on getting the cds for Stacy's shower done this weekend!!

If I get those all done, I'll be back on tonight if anyone is around. If I'm not done I want to say one thing:

:cheer2: :cheer2: Happy 40th Birthday Sistah P !!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Enjoy your very special day tomorrow!!

One more thing before I hit the road.

Maybe Rob M or Walt can help out here.

There is a military term used when troops are out on a mission whereas complete silence is mandatory. It has been making me crazy that I can't remember the term/word. I also believe that Maria Von Trapp was ordered to this after she admitted to Mother Superior that she had feelings for the Captain.

I'm sure this is the reason I don't sleep at night. :goodvibes This word/term has been bugging us for 3 years!!! :rotfl2: No one seems to know it. Any smarties out there willing to help?

Have a great Saturday all.:flower3:

The prize is one Fantastic Overflowing smoothie on the BOB.

Oh no! - I didnt know it was your 40th Paige - I havent sent a card:sad1: - I'm sooooo sorry:guilty:

I hope you have a wonderful birthday tomorrow:goodvibes

Its not so bad being 40;) .................. ask Jeff - he knows:lmao: :lmao:

Well done all the losers this week:cool1:

Well done Di, and give Walt a message............"put that cookie down!":rotfl2:

Heather - the same is better than 3lb on like I did last week - it'll come off next week for sure:thumbsup2

Jen - hope you feel better soon:hug:

Nancy - you'd had 76 inches of snow so far:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: - holy cow - I'd have to move:cold:

I'm bored - I need a project to work on (apart from my weight:rolleyes1 )

I have an urge to make door signs:lmao:

My October ones are on my freezer - they still look fab!:goodvibes

Ok, I have to share this...

Thomas just saw The Lion King for the first time tonight. He really liked it! He told me his favorite part....
