First off, can I just say that you people crack me up! :rotfl: I haven't posted that much (I feel kind of like the shy kid in the corner who giggles at all the jokes but doesn't really join in!) but I love trying to keep up with your posts! You are all so funny!

Don't be shy Sheri. None of the rest of us are...except maybe me. :cutie: (That should bring a few BOBers out of the woodwork). Lessee...who's first to comment on this post? Jeff is too busy this week but might not be able to resist, Andy's butt already hurts and he probably isn't looking forward another buttkicking, the ladies are all too nice, so I pick our Dawg Mike. He'll probably get here first and won't pass up the opportunity to give me a little cr@p. :rotfl2: Lay it on me Mike...I can take it. :lmao:

I have a stupidy/deception story, but as I typed it it occured to me that it may be inappropriate for our board. :rolleyes1 It involved a problem with our stateroom, calling the concierge to help take care of it, and their reasoning behind the problem as well as their way of making it right. I wish I had been clever enough to take a picture of it (it might have earned us a hefty obc or a discount on an upcoming cruise).

We joked about it with our stateroom host all week! He had a great sense of humor and played along well. His name was 'P' and the problem was with his counterpart bodily function.

Firstly - its great to see you posting:thumbsup2 - please keep it up and get yourself out of that corner and join in the fun rather than reading about it!:goodvibes - you have ages to get to know us all - we were all strangers once too! - If you want to ask us something - just ask! - If theres a joke you dont understand we'll explain -that way you'll feel more at home and join in more. We are all concious that we might be scaring new people off by being so chatty, but we cant help it:rotfl2: - we tried to control ourselves at the start of this thread, but failed miserably:lmao: We're mad but very welcoming - if you dont mind a little  fun then just jump right in and you'll be very welcome.:grouphug:

Secondly - I love your story:rotfl2: - our loo blocked up last Oct too. Hubby went to the ones down the corridor only to find those blocked too:rotfl2:

They had them sorted pretty quickly but it was fun knowing my hubby was running round the ship looking for a toilet that worked:lmao:

:lmao: Poor Neil!! Woody had a similar experience a few years ago at Epcot during food and wine. We had been drinking and eating for days and it finally caught up with him. We were at the American Pavillion at the time and he decided he was going to head back to the room because he didn't feel well. About half way past France it really hit!:scared: He decided to just to head for the restrooms at the International Gateway. They are usually clean and quiet. Well, he duck walked to the restrooms but they were closed for some reason!:scared1: He ended up running all the way back to our room at the Beach club! We still laugh about it! :rotfl2:

Has anyone seen either a random act of kindess on their DCL cruises or an act of pure stupidity & deception that they are willing to share?

This has bugged me since our last cruise. I'm not positive on how the Shutters process works when you want to save all your pictures for the last day before purchasing your package. I bought a package for over $100.00 and chose my pictures daily, checked them in and put them in my folder.

On Thursday (or maybe it was Friday), I watched a man take the biggest handful of pictures (I assume they were his own), look around and head up the stairs with them all. Just for kicks and giggles, I followed him and saw him go into a cabin. Now maybe, just maybe, he was showing them to his wife who became so ill on the cruise that she could only smile brightly & pose for pictures but not leave the room for anything else. They made the decision together and he honestly returned all the unwanted pictures later. But...I doubt it.

That just amazes me that someone would do that. I suppose Disney is just setting themselves up for that kind of behavior by just setting the pictures out there for someone to help themselves to.

Photopass will end that kind of dishonesty.

Rant over...I just needed to vent in a place where no one (I hope) would turn on the flames. :flower3:

I've seen this Nancy...but what makes it worse is that they sit in the corridor and use their camera to photograph the photograph. Then dump the originals in the bin. See I;m not the only one to witness this. The last night on board is definately steer clear of shutters night!

Our loos on the Princess wouldn't flush properly and had to get our room host to get maintenance to sort this out. What is worse is an annoying squeak somewhere in your cabin, that you can't locate. Maintenance couldn't locate it so we had to put up with the noise. And before you ask, it wasn;t from the adjoining cabins.:rotfl:

What the the hell? I say we goferit! :thumbsup2

By the way ... I just spent the better part of my lunch hour researching Vegas and I've found a restaurant that offers a 4-course dessert tasting menu!

We are so there! I think I'm going to call this trip report: Eat! Grow Large With Food!

Different story but same sort of thing....

We were in Menorca - (Ellis' first trip abroad - he turned one while we were there:cutie: ) and the apartments were lovely - big, spacious, spolessly clean etc etc...theres was one problem - there was a bl**dy cricket in the bushes right outside our door every single night for a week:furious:

By day 3 I was ready to do some serious harm to that little Jimini...I got the broom and was whacking hell out of the bush at 1am in the morning:lmao: - I must have looked a right sight muttering "Die bl**dy cricket , die!"

What was worse was our neighbours returned just as I was doing it:rotfl2: :rotfl2: ..I just stopped beating the bush, stood upright and politely said "had a good evening?"...they were in pieces laughing at me:lmao: As they left the man turned round and said "I hope you get the little s*d - he's been keeping us awake too!":rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I've found a restaurant that offers a 4-course dessert tasting menu!

Sounds like heaven (that is if all four courses are cheesecake of course;) )

Neil just came home with 12 red roses:lovestruc

Oops! - His prezzie isnt quite so romantic:rolleyes1 - its an LED magnetic torch-thing he wanted for work:rolleyes1 - I hope he appreciates it:confused3
