My boyfriend mentioned last night that he might be interested in going to Disneyland "one more time" after previously saying he would probably never go again. Of course I will be going with him and am going to start the pre-planning so I have answers when it is actually a thing

Are there any rooms that have single King beds vs the standard 2 Queens? I am also looking for a suite or at least a sitting area with a couch. The separate sitting area is more important than the King bed. It should be across the street and have a mini-fridge, microwave. A bonus if it is has a decent breakfast included that is actually available early enough to still make rope drop.

Best Western Anaheim Plus Inn has a suite with 1 king bed and 2 queens. The king room had a bench plus 2 nice chairs and a table. Then in the 2 Q room there was another little table with chairs, a microwave and mini fridge. Their website says some of those room come with a small living room area, too. They serve a great hot breakfast and are about a 2 minute walk from the Harbor entrance.

Best Western Park Place Inn has King minisuites. A king bed with a pull out sofa, larger room, closet, fridge, and microwave. They aren’t as updated as other hotels but it’s also right at the crosswalk to the pedestrian entrance so a short walk. It also has an included breakfast at the restaurant next door (no longer the gross Captain Kidd’s).

A couple of the suites at The Anaheim Hotel have king beds and a living area. No included breakfast but the walk is only about 5 minutes if you hit the signal crossing Harbor correctly or a few minutes longer if you have to wait at the signal.

Guess I should have done a little more research. I have always assumed that all the rooms were 2 queens. I honestly don't remember ever seeing a King room. But I have also never looked for suites either.

The Tropicana has King beds in some standard rooms available to book. The Park View Suite at Tropicana has a king bed in one room and a separate room with a couch/seating area. This is as close as it gets to the esplanade except Best Western Park View. There is no breakfast at Tropicana. After previously only booking DL hotels with breakfast, I have personally started to prefer Harbor hotels without breakfast. I think it's too much of a pain to get up and ready with kids for the hotel breakfast. We usually now eat in our rooms or grab and go from McD's or Panera.
