Finally, after 2 and 1/2 years, I bought a frame for this DCL poster that I bought off of eBay. I asked the people that are hosting our DCL House Party if they would like to use this poster, they said, "Yes, by all means" that's why it is in a frame today............:rotfl2: The poster is 36" by 24"

OK, I have to get ready to get out of here and head to the Atlantic City area. I'll check in later tonight if we get home early enough, bye for now........

thats a great poster. :thumbsup2 ive seen it on ebay. thought about trying to get it but im running out of room to hang signs.
may have to buy a bigger condo.:scared1:

no more junk food for underdog thanks.
we just got back from my family party. it was great.:thumbsup2
im glad the holidays are about over as im getting sick of cookies etc.(course
no one is twisting my arm to eat them):rolleyes1

That's ok, kids are taking care of them. I'm trying to be real good though. I am one that if I am cooking I don't eat, and I too am sick of all the sweets. Come Tuesday though, no goodies for me! Got a pirate outfit to get into in August.:cool1:

Man, what is going on, did the DIS go back to their old server again. I've been on since I got home a little while ago and it has been taking forever for the pages to load.

We had a very nice time, and we also brought home tons of food and sweets, not like we need anymore sweets in the house, oh my............

Congrats to any Pats fans out there, 16-0 for the regular season.

Good Night All...........

OK - I got Nancy's message and decided to post.

Since the title has changed yet again (only in a good way) I want to know the best way to get pinapple juice on board. Do I need to bring it myself.

My summer drink of choice last summer (which could and probably will definitely change by 2009) was a bikini martini. It had equal parts malibu, vodka, and pineapple juice with a splash of grenadine.

So - my question of a late Saturday night. What to do for the cruise if this is still my drink of choice. I can bring the adult beverage pieces (and the grenadine) - but no pineapple juice from Wisconsin

Did I mention my 6 year old loves this drink (sans alcohol of course!)

I would think you would be able to get pineapple juice on board, but just in case would you be able to make a stop in FL before getting on the ship? I'm fairly sure you could get some of that in FL.

My nephew is spending this week with us since they don't have daycare for him. So what does my brother bring with him, he bought my kids Rock Band for Christmas. Now I knew about the guitar and drums, but didn't know about the microphone. Someone pass the earplugs please.:lmao:

Good morning everbody:goodvibes

We went for a curry last night to our local curry house restaurant. Ellis doesnt eat it, so we take in a McDonalds kids meal and they just give him a plate. When we got back we played wii:sad2: - oh dear - I can barely move this morning. My back, shoulders and arms are killing me - even typing is difficult:lmao: No wii for me today. I did defeat about 9 rounds of boxers though:yay: - I had to give in in the end - I just had no energy left, but at least it burnt off those curry calories:thumbsup2

You may have to bring an extra suitcase then next time you come to the States. You can load up on Wii games. :rotfl: If ours work there, which they should, it would probably be cheaper for us to send you some.

May have to look into that Olympics disc a little more then. Sounds like that will be the next one.

As for the Brits vs. the Yanks, I want to see Chris jumping around doing some of these games. :rotfl: Sorry AFEG, couldn't resist.

The wii games from USA dont work in England:sad2: Different format or something.

I would also pay to watch Chris box:rotfl2:

Well we were supposed to be at my mom's today to celebrate Christmas, but she has the flu, and I don't want that. So does anyone want a chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter cookie, pretzel stick dipped in chocolate and sprinkles, or a 7 layer bar? Got plenty of them.:sad2:

Oh what a shame! My mom has the flu too. No babysitting duties for her for a few days:sad2:

Hi Carianne - nice to see you posting. Post more often and join in. I know you dont know us as well, but we have plenty of time to change all that!

As for drink - we just took on a rolling cooler last time - they didnt question it at all. It had a crate of beer and several bottles of wine (and a bottle or two of water:lmao: ) It was great having a drink in the room before dinner while we were getting ready. I like the sound of that bikini martini though! - I might just have to try that! It also helps with the bar bill:scared1: - its frightening getting that bill on the last night:scared1:

Mind you, our OBC this year will help a little:woohoo:

Hi everyone!

Not too much to report here...trying to recover from Christmas. I have Monday and Tuesday off, so I'm enjoying another long weekend - only this weekend is less stressful! I'm trying to start my Disneyland planning, btu I'm having trouble getting hotel rates, etc. because it's a ways out. I also can't check airfares because it's too far out. Sigh....obsessive planning doesn't always work too well. :lmao:

Sounds like there's a lot of Wii-ing going on :) We don't have one, but that's ok. Has anyone thrown their controller into the TV yet??:rotfl: I love that commercial....

I think we're going to go swimming today. We joined the local YMCA, and they have a new aquatic center, with a really cool pool. It has a wading area for little kids, a current channel, for exercising, but during open swim it becomes a "lazy river", and a swimming/sports area. I'm also planning to get some workouts in now that we've joined. I need to get back into the weight loss routine....

Ok, I suppose I'm done posting random thoughts now:)

Jeff, I like the new title....

Hmm....rum and tequila, perfect for daquiris and margaritas. Now we just have to figure out how to get a blender on board!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Greetings friends!

First, thank you so much for all your PM's, thoughts, prayers and emails concerning my dad. You guys are the BEST!!! :grouphug:

Looks like I missed a little here. I'm not going back to read two weeks worth of posts, so I'll just jump in here. And speaking of jumping in...I've pm'd our missing BOB's before the DIS wouldn't respond to me anymore last night. C'mon new BOBs, please post with us!! (Good job CarrianneB)! Did I miss anything important?

Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanakah, Happy Kwanza, Go Packers, Hakuna Matata to all!!:)

Howdy, Howdy, Howdy...........

I slept in this morning, didn't get out of bed until after 8am and have just been taking it very easy today. Just finished the Sunday paper and thought I'd sign on and see what's happenin' on the boards.

Good Morning everyone!
Andy I'm taking it more easy than you, I got up at 10:30 am totally shocked :scared1: Didn't go to bed until 2 am this morning, just couldn't get to sleep, kept hearing this singing and guitar and drums, finally had them turn it off and go to bed.

Jen,
I have one of those Magic Bullet blenders, if we can get a couple of those we are in business.

So I have to share with everyone what has been going on the last week. Well last week Sean and I had been talking about not going on BOB. The Panama Canal cruise is costing us a pretty penny and it comes down to affordability. So I pmed a couple of Diser's in regards to the SPH room that I have, and have been in contact with them. I did not want that room going to anyone but a KKer.

Well come Friday, I was talking to Sean about using our DVC points. I know that sometimes the ship offers discounted points as a rebooking offer. So we are now deciding whether to use those points or sell them. We sold some for the August cruise, and so far it has been an ok experience (last payment is due in Feb). I would like this route since that way I can keep the SPH and only have to use 09 points to do it.

So that's the story, sorry that is so long. And sorry to those I pm'ed, I shall blame it on my obsessive compulsive planning disorder. You guys are the best, and I am keeping my finger, toes, and whatever crossed that this will work out.
