Have a great day everyone! I'm off to get some stuff accomplished. I'm surprised Rachel's not up yet wanting to go out shopping for the Wii Play :confused3 She must have wore herself out playing lats night :lmao: Al just told me I'm like a heroine addict here needing to get my DIS fix :lmao: :lmao: I guess he wants to use the computer

Skeetball is part of the Carnival game. There are 25 different carnival games on that disc. Some of them can be hard. DS just loves playing that disc.

It was a good thing I went and got it. It was a last minute pickup from Santa. I told Suz we should get something he would really have fun with other than the sports.

It was between that and Mario Party. I thought he'd have more fun with this just because of the skeetball.

I'm looking into that Mario Olympics that Robin was talking about. I like the workout factor and remember a Decathalon game we had for Atari back in the '80's. It was fun.

The boxing game is great and a good workout too! I was dying after playing last night too. Rach kept going back for more though!

The tennis was fun but I didn't do very well. I can't wait to try that when we have 2 remotes and can play against each other. I though I did OK with bowling until I read what Robin scores :scared1: I haven't tried golf yet.

When I play DS in tennis, I only use my back guy. When I play the computer, I will use the front guy and twist the controller a little too. It puts some spin on the ball.

I think I boxed 8-10 matches on Xmas morning. It gets harder as you get better. I knocked out everyone except my last opponent who I won the decision 2-1.

I stopped after that one. I was tired.

And at $40-$50 a game, they get costly. We will probably pick one more up around DS's B-day and then nothing until Xmas next year (unless I see something on sale that is a steal).

We may have to have another DIS meet just to play the Wii.

I remember them having some Wii competitions in the sports bar on one night. Maybe we should coordinate that on the next cruise. A Wii competition/olympics. A different game each night/day with a playoff type pairing. Get points for where you finish. That could be pretty cool. Even if it is just the 5 games on the Sports disc, in 5 days/nights, we could get through the whole thing. Maybe even set up teams - so individual bragging rights along with team.

OK....I think I must have stepped into the twilight zone with everyone speaking another language.

We haven't purchased a wii yet...but I hadn't thought about the benefits of toned up bingo wings! :rotfl:  Perhaps, we'll have to treat ourselves.

A quick "Hi to you Heather...

Just finished watching Cass's video. :woohoo: Makes you want a Disney fix. 5 weeks from today we'll get the WDW fix but it's not the same as a cruise. We're taking Cassie and her boyfriend. He's never been there and know nothing about WDW. So it should be fun watching his reaction to everything. He's really into it. :dance3:

I wish I had time to talk with you more, but we're going to a family christmas party at 1. Catchya later.

Hi Robin..just finished it myself and boy, did I need a disney fix. I want to go back NOW, not in 22 months. Luckly we won't have to wait that long, just 8 months. But a WDW fix would suit me just as well. Have fun.

Karen this morning my shoulders and arms are killing me too :rotfl: Just think though how toned our arms will be for KK2 :thumbsup2

Either that or we'll have arms like Arnold Schwarzenger (sp):lmao:

Well that didn't take long Cheryl.

Here's a tip, pick up the Wii Play game that includes the extra controller. The controller alone is $40, but the Wii Play is only $50. That's $10 for an extra game.

Don't for get an extra numchuck (sp?). Those are $20.

DS's favorite games are on the Carnival disc.

Our ds likes Carnival too. I wish our games were $50:rolleyes: - we have to pay $70-80 for ours:rolleyes:

If you like an adventure game... The Legend of Zelda

Wario Ware Smooth moves

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. This is a lot of fun and you really get a workout.

We have Wario and Olympic too - both are great fun and get you moving

The Olympic Games sounds like it might be a good one. Rach and I are hoping the Wii will help us lose some weight!

Arent we all:lmao:

They're having a great time. Addison is loving it. They went on Kilamanjaro Safari and she kept saying "Hi" to the animals. :cutie:

Ellis really likes that one:thumbsup2

:woohoo: Ooooh yeah! - The Looney Brits v The Yankie Bobs!:goodvibes

Get one Heather - they're great fun and you'll be toned in no time (that is if you can prize the remote out of Ricks hand:lmao:

Why am I no longer getting emails telling me someone has posted on this thread?:confused3 - did they do something wierd last night?:confused3

From what I can gather, no one is receiving e-mail notifications at the moment Karen, don't feel bad, no one is picking on you............:lmao:

Finally, after 2 and 1/2 years, I bought a frame for this DCL poster that I bought off of eBay. I asked the people that are hosting our DCL House Party if they would like to use this poster, they said, "Yes, by all means" that's why it is in a frame today............:rotfl2: The poster is 36" by 24"

OK, I have to get ready to get out of here and head to the Atlantic City area. I'll check in later tonight if we get home early enough, bye for now........

Too bad we have other plans for tonight or we'd join you at the Bucks game. Have fun!

Too bad. I have 4 extra tickets and they're free.

Work gets a lot of them. We had some for the 19th's game (couldn't do that one), but we did one earlier this month.

I'll let you know the next time we get some. Based on how they are playing as of late, I'm sure we'll get more. :sad2:

You may have to bring an extra suitcase then next time you come to the States. You can load up on Wii games. :rotfl: If ours work there, which they should, it would probably be cheaper for us to send you some.

May have to look into that Olympics disc a little more then. Sounds like that will be the next one.

As for the Brits vs. the Yanks, I want to see Chris jumping around doing some of these games. :rotfl: Sorry AFEG, couldn't resist.

Well we were supposed to be at my mom's today to celebrate Christmas, but she has the flu, and I don't want that. So does anyone want a chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter cookie, pretzel stick dipped in chocolate and sprinkles, or a 7 layer bar? Got plenty of them.:sad2:
