With this new thread title, BOB TWIT = Booze on Board; Traveling with Intoxicated Tourists.


We watched the Disney special tonight too. I liked it, but I thought the first one Sam Brown did a few years ago was better - this one felt rushed to me. Saying that ... I still cried during the MK fireworks segment. Deep down, beneath all those hard layers of cynicism, there are still soft gooey sections of sentiment.

just watched the wdw holiday show on the travel channel.
makes us want to be there.
our ds and wife and addison are leaving for wdw a week from friday.
addisons first wdw trip.
they wont be here for xmas.
neither will cassie.
just the tart girl and underdog doing the empty nest christmas this year.
we will have to watch a lot of dcl home movies i guess as im off for 2 weeks.

We just watched the special, too. I really want to ride the new coaster at Animal Kingdom. We'd like to take the kids some time this year--Maybe a holiday trip!

Expedition Everest is a blast! It's overtaken Rock'N'Roller Coaster as our favorite coaster at WDW.

We really liked EE too!!!!! We didn't tell Alex it was going to go backwards and she about lost it........but totally loved it.

The first time we rode EE we didn't have a clue about what was going to happen and I didn't have my glasses on because I was afraid they'd fall off ... riding a coaster blind that suddenly goes backwards is a really interesting experience. I thought I was going to lose it myself that first time.

What an afternoon

Spent the last 4 hours glossing woodwork...went to fetch Ellis... I had put the step ladders in front of the one doorway so he couldnt even get near it....told him exactly where was still wet etc...started running a bath...doorbell goes...get rid of man at door...run up to turn bath off before it floods...2 seconds later he admits he put his whole hand on the gloss - great! - big tacky finger print mess....run back downstairs to try "repair" doorway - made it look even worse....then





realize Ellis has drifted back into the lounge





Yep! - a big white sodding hand print on two out of four leather sofas







I want to kill him







I really do







I think I will






I panicked - Tried to get it off with turps! - god knows what that will do to the leather - it was pulling out some dye while I was wiping it.








Rant over - I cant go back in the lounge - I'm too frightened to look at the sofas




If I do I am likely to explode and kill him if they're ruined. They are a year old and cost us an absolute fortune - I guess I need to buy a throw for each sofa





7 year old child for sale............actually not for sale - going free - I'll even pay the air fare

I realize this may not be the best time BUT we will have a 9 yr old DS on the cruise. This episode sounds so much like something ours would do AND we also bought leather sofas this past year. Now I'm scared. I 've been keeping them covered with sheets during the day for fading but now I'm wondering if it will keep them Remington safe!

Hope everything works out with the door and furniture!

Nothing is set in stone yet. We'll have to see how plans come together, but if we go, you are definitely invited!

We'll do our four day whirlwind as usual.

DS's B-day is the 10th and he has off school the 8th and 11th. Suz is itching to go on a vacation since we won't be going until August for the repo.

Since the Pirate and Princess party is going on at that time and the crowds are dead for that, the thought has crossed my mind if I could get a good airfare.

A dis meet at WDW in February would be great if anyone wants to join
