OK guys,
Before KK1 you were talking about a waterproof digital camera. Which one was it? And did you like the pics it took?

Our underwater camera one was a Pentax Optio W20. This is what some of the pics looked like:

It was an excellent camera. It takes an ordinary SD card and a separate battey charger. It was good value for money at $140 delivered.

Rose, Dreams Unlimited is offering a double onboard credit if you book a 2009 cruise by 12/31/07. So for a cat 1-7 you would get a $200 OBC and cat 8-12 would get a $100 OBC. If you pay the entire cruise with your Disney Visa you should get an additional $50 OBC.

Does that sound correct to you experts out there?

I feel so bad for all of you having this horrible weather. The ice and snow that you are getting is SUPPOSED to go to our north, so says the weather people here, only time will tell.

Hazel got a 2:15pm appt. today for Angelina to see the doc(they are there right now). The fever came down a little with some Tylenol, but she was complaining of a sore throat when I checked on her at lunchtime.

Hope it's not strep throat, my daughter had that last week. She was miserable. Though amazing how fast the antibiotic cleared it up.

Andy, I hope Angelina gets better soon. I also had strep throat but didn't take care of it until just last week. I had a sore throat since right before the cruise and thought it was allergies. After a test, Dr said it was strep. Unfortunately, the antibiotics didn't work for me.

I have to go get some work done, now (boo!). Hope you are all staying safe and warm.

Yesterday and Sunday were our bad weather days - today it is 60 degrees but then tonight it's supposed to drop back into the 30s with more freezing rain tomorrow night.

Like I said in my PM to ya...Bob cant pass up a trip thats named after him... B.O.B. Tell him we need a few more of those green after dinner drinks and that should help him make up his mind.

Work it in to a trip to visit Sean in Florida at the same time.

It doesn't look like Jen has been on, I wonder how much ice they got.

I think they are in the middle of the ice band down there. I wonder if they lost power. Where I live, the lines are mostly underground. Down there, not sure.

Wow, I'm missed after one day?!?! Thanks guys...I feel so loved

We're all fine here...long story though. Here goes....

My workplace gives each employee 1 day off a year to do volunteer work. It's a neat little benefit. So, today, I was signed up to work for the Salvation Army, sitting at the mall at their Angel Tree. Pete was supposed to go in to work, just like normal. It was going to be a very busy day at work for him. Oh, and he works in Beloit, which is 20-25 minutes down the interstate.

Then, we got all this lovely weather. Ick. Our city has not plowed the last two times it has snowed, so, we were getting freezing rain on top of unplowed streets. Schools were closed, as well as Thomas's daycare. Pete stayed home, and I went to the mall to work at the Angel Tree, where all of 6 people stopped by. So, it's been an odd day, to say the least.

We still have power, the roads are sloppy, and I'm glad to be home and not driving around. I might have to do some baking tonight to warm up the house!

What an afternoon

Spent the last 4 hours glossing woodwork...went to fetch Ellis... I had put the step ladders in front of the one doorway so he couldnt even get near it....told him exactly where was still wet etc...started running a bath...doorbell goes...get rid of man at door...run up to turn bath off before it floods...2 seconds later he admits he put his whole hand on the gloss - great! - big tacky finger print mess....run back downstairs to try "repair" doorway - made it look even worse....then





realize Ellis has drifted back into the lounge





Yep! - a big white sodding hand print on two out of four leather sofas







I want to kill him







I really do







I think I will






I panicked - Tried to get it off with turps! - god knows what that will do to the leather - it was pulling out some dye while I was wiping it.








Rant over - I cant go back in the lounge - I'm too frightened to look at the sofas




If I do I am likely to explode and kill him if they're ruined. They are a year old and cost us an absolute fortune - I guess I need to buy a throw for each sofa





7 year old child for sale............actually not for sale - going free - I'll even pay the air fare

Glad things weren't too bad for you. We got a very little amount of snow, but sounds like Jeff got everybody's share of snow today. Would rather have snow than ice though.
