I was hoping!!!!

I will have to check the schedule again this time so I can (hopefully) plan to see a 747 land!

It's also cool to see them take off because the sand and water kick up from the jets and then it looks like they barely make it up in time before they crash into the mountain!!!

I remember seeing videos of the planes landing and taking off before our first Eastern cruise back in 2003. The take offs did look scary as the plane was getting closer to the mountains.

Our second Eastern was a special sailing and we didn't go to St. Maarten, on our third Eastern, I was very sick the first five days of the cruise and didn't get off the ship at St. Maarten. Maybe I'll check it out this time..........

Any time we've booked a cat 12 gty, we were on deck 2.

Learned something new.

I was a Cat 12 and was on deck 7.

You must have been upgraded to an 11 because the Deck Plans on WDW Info do not show 12's on Deck 7. Only 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11.

Actually, I booked late ... March. I didn't have a room until about 3 months before the cruise. I was just confirmed! Guess I got lucky.

Well.... due to the most recent couple of hurricanes... the beach is now gone, for the most part. However... when we were there this past October (remember, I cruised this same itinerary with Chris & Hazel, right after your cruise!!) there was a outdoor cafe where we sat and watched the planes land while having lunch. The RIBS were great!!

Don't want you to be disappointed... however, that's the only spoiler I'll post! I just know how disappointed we were after watching all the you tube videos!

By the way... Here I am... and my son at MNSSHP... when most of you were on your last night of the cruise!!
