Jeff, are you getting some snow??? I was checking the radar and it looks like you could be getting some snow.

Well here you go, the first is looking out my patio doors,...guess I won't be grilling for supper tonight

This one is a shot from by the house down the driveway, just to show you how much it is still snowing.

OMG, I'll take some! Probably be the one and only white Christmas I would get if you did. That second pic is gorgeous. Stay safe.

Can't really tell. It is blowing so bad I'm not sure if it is new snow or old snow blowing around.

According to Intellicast it is suppose to be snowing here with some heavier bands moving in.

No, no, that's quite OK.............;)

I'm building an ARK right now.............:rotfl:

After it is done can you swing by and pick us up? It rained and rained last night and today. It has finally stopped and we have a clear sky tonight. The moon is beautiful.

I just thought i would share a tradition we do. The kids always get to open one present on christmas eve. it is always from daddy. and it is always pjs. They love it and look good christmas morning for all those pics. We started it with Alex's first Christmas and have continued it every year.

I wish we would at least get one good snow like that each year. It rarely happens.

Will be there as soon as the animals are loaded on.....................;)

Do you ever get snow??

Yeah, we get snow a few times each winter. Usually no more than 1-3 inches at a time. Maybe once a year we will get 6 inches of snow or more. I love it but am glad it is only a few times a year.
:)

Lori, how far is Cedar Point, in Ohio for you??

It will be about 9-10 hours. But we love roller coasters so we will do it. My aunt lives not too far from it so we can visit her too. They live in Medina about 30 minutes outside of Cleveland.

I might have missed this conversation because I have not been reading back. But does anyone have traditions with their stockings.

This is mine for Mac. The year she was born I got a read and white stocking and painted her name on th white part of the stocking. Then every year until she turns 18 I sew a silver bell off of the white part. So when I give it to her for Christmas of her 18th year there will be 18 silver bells on it.

That's a great tradition. Laura always just hung her's as decoration before we were married, It was I who started filling it.

I just reached adulthood (I think) I decided it was time to invest in my companies 401K. I have no idea about these things and they tend to scare me so I have put it off for a long time. So I got all the information and called my father to talk to him about it. He gave me his advice and that of his people and away I went. This might be fun checking on it every so often. It won't start for another 2 pay periods but hey whatever works, right?

Wise. My 401K has been a great investment for me.

Merry Christmas eve everybody!

I just transfered my disney rezzie to Dreams Unlimited and got extra onboard credit - thanks everyone for the advice:thumbsup2 - more cocktail money:dance3:

Well, we're almost ready for christmas. The Santa website is on, the turkey is washed and ready to go in the oven, the play room is finished - just need to put up a few posters and build the snooker table.
I still need to lay the xmas table and get the pots and pans ready etc so I dont have to do it tomorrow.

We're off to the cinema at lunchtime to watch Fred Claus and then for lunch.

Wishing you all a very Merry Disney Christmas:grouphug:

Karen please post pictures when the room is done and all set up with Ellis' presents! Thanks for posting the Santa link again, we're goingto have to check that out.

I'll post some piccies - I cant wait to see his face!

How about ornaments. Every year we let the kids get a new one. So again when the kids are 18 they should have 18 or more of them to take with them for their own tree.

Ahhhh, thats lovely!
Big hugs to you all...its sounds like you've had a rough few weeks.

Our DD17 is still like a little kid on Christmas morning, she is up usually before 5am opening her gifts. One year she had us up around 3am and by 5am we were all back in bed trying to get a couple more hours of sleep.......

The rain finally stopped around here late last night, but boy did the temps drop once the rain stopped........:cold:
