I did rather well this morning working after my morning workout. I was able to get 100 of the 150 curb meters read before it started to lightning and thunder. I was walking around with the shovel in my hand, I felt like a human lightning rod. I high-tailed it back to my work car as quick as possible...........

Perhaps I'd better explain....

We were all making t shirts for our last cruise - I was worried that I would iron the transfer on correctly (ie backwards) hence Karen would turn into neraK. Nancy was kind enough to make me a special t shirt with our logo on purposely backwards - I wore it to the wine dismeet but forgot to get the back of the t shirt photographed

Morning everyone. We had a beautiful holiday weekend, too bad it went so fast.

Nancy - got video? If he wasn't too sore after volleyball, he will be today?

Chris - How did Ryan's bike ride go?

He finished,they all did but only just the weather was horrible... but they raised about $5000 for two great causes,thanks for asking...

Ahhhhh, heaven - just took a loooong bubble bath in one of our newly painted bathrooms

We managed to get all 3 done in one day - just the ceilings left to do now.

We will not venture anywhere "NEAR" the smoke Heather and if this means missing something so be it Digger comes first (Hell it would give us a good reason to comeback.. )I'll just change our plans or just book into a real nice Hotel and doss by the pool for a few days i can think of far things to do....

Looking at a Cruise for next March 16 nights,Fly from Manchester (home of the gods united) to Barbados see some islands before crossing the big pond over to Gibraltar and then on to Italy before flying home.For me and Hazel £1600 (about $3200) all in Tips the lot,how cheap is that?....Oh and we get a balcony too....Am going to ring them later to ask them how many hours a day I'd be expected to row for... ....

Chris so far Big Sur and Santa Barbara is on fire. Supposed to have a heat wave here this week,so who knows what will catch on fire next. Supposed to get to 110 this week sometime.

So I went to meet Lori for lunch today.....

As I was driving along minding my own business, I came upon the most unusual thing on the highway....

Yes, it is a GIANT COW! It made me think that I need to switch to organic foods....

And here is me with Lori--the supermodel! She is gorgeous, y'all--skinny, skinny, skinny! We had a great chat. Too bad she had to go back to work.
