Lucky you Melody. I'm starting my packing.
Me Too!:cool1: Just trying to be careful to not pack too much.

Morning/afternoon everyone  Just popping in here quick, I have some things I need to get done before we go to Summerfest. Today is the day Rachel has been waiting for, tonight is the Jonas Brothers concert, to say that she is excited would be a huge understatement! While she is at the concert with her friends Al and I will walk around Summerfest http://www.summerfest.com/flash/# and see how it has changed since we were there last, which was years ago.
Don't forget the earplugs, your going to need them! Please tell Rachel to have a great time. My DD would be so jealous if she new about this, thankfully she's at the second best place next to the JB concert, Grandma's!

Mark, Plod is a slang word for a police officer
went to the next link they had...."Plod or P.C.Plod is a British slang term used to refer to a a police officer, particularly one slow-witted or dull, or - more recently - the police force in general....."" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plod

Not sure which one is better...to be called a Jacka$$ or a slow-witted and dull police officer.

Either way...good morning Chris!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Mark
Guess better it's better than being called a pig, of course people don't do that anymore they use more colorful language don't they. Oh well new word for me when I get mad a DH. I guess if Heather can have a Grumpy old Sod, I can have a Grumpy old Plod

I found out yesterday that we got the trade we wanted for next year  We will be staying at Marriott's Mountainside resort in Park City, Ut next June. We've also traded into Palm Springs, CA in the past and that was very nice too. We have now traded more than we have stayed at Horizons but that was part of why we bought was to trade :goodvibes and so far we have had good success with trading :thumbsup2

I'll have to jot these down. Scott really wants to go out west for a vacation. Although, we already have vacations for 2009 and 2010. Maybe he will get to go out there 2011! Unless the new ships are here!:thumbsup2

WOW! That is GORGEOUS!!!! My dream is to own an acreage just like that one day!!! We'd have to hire someone to mow it though, Rob barely ventures out to mow this yard and it's not very big

Forgot to say before........

Neil has been doing slimfast for 4 weeks (same as me).... he's lost 21lb:rolleyes:

I've lost 8lb:rolleyes: - how unfair is that!

Well, first off Karen, CONGRATS!!!! 8 lbs !!! :cool1: :worship: :yay: :woohoo: That is awesome!!!!

Wow, 21 pounds in 4 weeks  Isn't it so unfair that men can do that??? :rolleyes1 But great job Neil!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1: It's going to take me 3-4 months to get rid of 21 pounds!!! ::yes:: :scared:

Great pics Jeff - thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

On a totally unrelated note ... what is happening to my man Federer??? :confused3

Just got in from church and turned the match on, I was surprised to see Nadal up 2 sets to love.

Going out for lunch with Lina........:wave2:

Congrats...you guys are doing great. I have leveled off after about 45 lbs and have been maintaining for the last month or so. KEEP IT UP!!!

Mark

I am at a standstill too. I am maintaining which is good, but I keep saying I need to get back on the bandwagon and be really good again. I don't think I will stress it at least until after Sean and Cath's visit. I am definitely not dieting that week!:goodvibes

  Congrats Karen and Neil!

That is awesome. Keep up the good work.:thumbsup2

First thing I thought of was a new adjective to use during my next patrol evaluations. "Officer Smith - Has been a Plod the last few months." Sometimes either definition that I had quoted earlier would work. :lmao:

Hi everyone!

Just hopping on quick to say...

We got a Wii and Wii Fit!!!! I'm SO excited!

We're just getting it all set up now....

Afternoon all :wave2:

So I just booked all our shows for Las Vegas in October :goodvibes We're doing three Cirque du Soleil shows :woohoo: KA, Mystere and "O" :thumbsup2

Still debating on our anniversary dinner but I think we're going with Delmonico at the Venetian. It came HIGHLY recommended by our friends and family. I'm gonna have a heart attack when our check comes at the end of the meal though  I am not the kind of person to pay that much for food but it IS our 10th wedding anniversary so I am taking a very deep breath and making an exception. :scared:

I am getting very excited, it's been almost 10 years since we've been there, since our wedding actually :rolleyes1

Cass, a lot of my food buddies here on the DIS had good things to say about Delmonicos as did Jay's aunt and uncle who live in Vegas. I think you'll both be very pleased with your choice. :goodvibes

On another note ... this is an amazing tennis match! :thumbsup2

Thanks Bendy :goodvibes Yeah my brother and his girlfriend say it was their best meal ever and they go 5-6 times per year or more and eat at a lot of different places. I sure hope it's good if we are paying that much!!! :lmao:

I still need to book my xmas adr's:headache: - I know there will be nothing left by the time I get round to it and she decifers what I'm saying from "Australian":rolleyes1

Ok, I'm officially bored:rolleyes:

I need something fun to do. Havent the energy for wii. I really want some cheesecake... I cant get cheesecake out of my mind:rolleyes1 Why does my mind always wander to thinking about food?:confused3

I know ... I've been watching all morning and I'm baffled by the way he's playing.

An update - Federer has clawed back two sets and is equal in the fifth. Mind you, Brenda, I am amazed he's managed to get back those two sets. Nadal certainly deserved to win. Now looks like rain might stop play again.
