Hi and Bye Karen........:wave2:

What a workout!!!

15 minutes on the bike
10 minutes on the elliptical
25 minutes on the dreadmill
30 tummy crunches

= over 300 calories burned this morning.

I got more of a workout without the ST there.

I am so proud of myself this morning.......:goodvibes

Way to go Andy:woohoo: :woohoo: - well done:woohoo:

Morning all.

First, my apologies for not getting any pics up yesterday. Was having too much fun partying. Actually, if Suz knew I was on the DIS, she'd kill me.

As soon as I can get on my work laptop, I'll post some pics I took. I'm sure Nancy won't be my friend after a couple of them. :rolleyes1 My home computer hangs up way too much. Not sure if I need to restore the system to get all the garbage off the drives.

The party went great. Hope the guests had a good time. We had a good display of fireworks on the horizon. I was lighting my own, so I couldn't give you a count, but I believe it was in excess of 12 (someone else can confirm).

We'll be doing this party again next year. :cool1:

I didnt get invited:snooty: :sad1:

ps - I'm going to tell Suz you're dissing:p :rotfl:

Joanne, those were some fabulous pictures. I 've never been to Disneyland (or even California) but if Kristin & Jesse move to Arizona, as threatened, I'm sure I'll make it over there then. Sorry to hear about the Jellyfish sting too.

Ditto from me - fab photos Joanne - got any more to post? - we can never get enough photos

Andy: I'm surprised that tree didn't cause basement problems for you. It was HUGE!

It was so close to the house too:eek: - are you still covered by your house insurance if trees are that close to your property? I know our policy is really hot on that.

So the 4th of July picnic at Jeff's was so much fun. Chuck is so sore this morning he can barely move. He played volleyball and basketball while I bored the ladies with conversation. As promised, Jen brought her Tortuga rum cake and I promised myself one slice. It was soooo worth it. Thanks Jen.

I tell ya, Jeff and Suz hosted one heck of a party. Those two know how to entertain. We all decided that even if Jeff and Suz don't live there anymore next year, we're all going anyway. :rotfl2: We'll just make friends with the new owners. :lmao:

It's true, we saw the firework displays from at least a dozen different parks from their back patio. Jeff and his friend shot off a bunch of their own which were awesome.

Thanks again Jeff and Suz.

wound, salt, rub:sad1: .... no invite:sad1: ,..... no tortuga rum cake:sad1: ,...no fireworks:sad1:...no dis meet:sad1:

I made it through a 48 minute workout this morning ... aerobic, strength training, resistance bands, and abdominal work. It's the Slim in 6 workout series, which I really like. I usually skip the beginning 25 minute workout (that's the introductory one) and go straight to the middle workout called Ramp it Up ... other than my arms feeling a little rubbery I feel pretty good.

We'll see how I feel tomorrow! ;)

Good job Bendy!!! :cool1: :thumbsup2 Make sure to do lots of stretching and hopefully you won't be too sore. I find if I don't stretch as well as I should then I get sore muscles the next day. :scared:

HOLY COW! - Jeff, is that your back garden? - looks more like a field - no wonder it takes you so long to mow it!

Hi everyone  I haven't been on here in almost a month :scared1: between all the end of the year school stuff with Rach and then going on our 2 week driving vacation to the northeastern US. There is no way I can catch up so I'm just going to jump back in here!
We had a great vacation, we did and saw sooooo much in New York, the Boston area and our visit with Lynn and Chris in upstate New York and to Niagara Falls.

Hi Cheryl - good to see you back - we need photos of your vacation:banana:

Well, I managed to sell the whole lot of playmobil!:yay: - put it on the Dibb to see if I could sell anything before ebay and I've sold the whole lot:woohoo:

Made Ellis another $250:yay: - he's going to be rich!

Thanks Lori, the vacation was great!!!

Have you ever used your timeshare to trade to go to the western US? Seeing how we did so well with all the driving we did on this trip we have been talking about driving out to Utah next June and I am going to try and get a trade into one of the Marriott's in Park City, Utah.

Our first trade was this past one. We will definitely use it from now on.:thumbsup2

Sounds good. I was going to PM you, but how about Monday for lunch? As the week goes on, I will get busier and busier with packing. I hope to be able to see Sean and Cath, too.:thumbsup2

Have fun carpet cleaning......

Monday sounds great. I'll meet you at 12. Can't wait.

Ummmm.....Yes you were. You told me you didn't like the other people I invited. :rotfl2: Either that or something about how costly it was to fly to Chicago.

O.K., time for some pics I guess.

I'll start with some volleyball pics:
