Wow, I'm impressed that your ST is up that early during the summer.

You probably should have stayed and worked out Andy. You'll just be running back there anyways after she done. But yes, you do, do a lot of walking on your job. I just sit all day and it definitely shows.

I did cut the grass with the walk behind last night, does that count? I'll have to calculate out how far I walk when I do that. My lawn mower has a 22" cut and my yard is approximately 158' x 258', without taking off for the house, drive or any gardens. It took forever, but with the ground/grass getting dry, I didn't want to take the rider/tractor out. The weight of it bends the grass too much and you see the lines from it for weeks. I may continue to cut by hand in the front the rest of summer. Gives it a better look. Don't care much about the back, only 2 neighbors can see that.

OK, just did some quick math, using only the gross area of my yard, it would be 141 passes at 158' per pass, so 22,278 feet. Given a mile is 5,280 feet, that would make it 4.2 miles gross. Take off for the house, drive, patio, and gardens, probably about 3 miles net (figure take 1/3 off, but that would error lower). Not a bad walk twice a week. However, it took way too long.

Thanks to everyone for the Happy Anniversary wishes! :cloud9:

Our day was off to a great start. We both took the day off work. The kids are out in Las Vegas with the grandparents. We are spending the whole day together just enjoying each others company and spending some time by ourselves. :rolleyes1

We will be going out this evening for dinner and a movie. :3dglasses (Indiana Jones) We spent part of last night and this morning playing the new Lego Indiana Jones computer game for the Playstation 3. HD Video Games are amazing. I was around when pong came out and Atari 2600. I actually saw those things in the Smithsonian Museum recently! :scared1:

I remember when my parents had their 25th wedding anniversary. That seemed like a very long time. Now that #19 is here, 25 doesn't seem that far off. :thumbsup2 I guess our mutual enjoyment of Disney has helped along the way too. Our first "Date" was on Grad Night 1984 at DL. We had our honeymoon at WDW at the Grand Floridian. It was brand new. We stayed in the Sago Cay building. We have had Disney memories ever since.

Have a great day everyone!

Matthew

Happy Anniversary you two crazy kids!! :lovestruc

Sounds like a wonderful day. We went to see Indiana Jones on Sunday and loved it! Very funny. I hope you enjoys it!

Well, it's almost time to head back to work, see y'all later........:wave2:

Lessee, no Palo for Chuck and I although I still think I have a date with Scott for brunch. :cutie: Castaway Cay might see us trying parasailing. The kids want to do that too. :woohoo:

So far Tony and Stacy are cruising with the BOB’s. Kristin and Jesse are playing with the idea of moving this cruise up to December 6th this year and using it as their honeymoon instead of cruising with us. They aren’t sure yet. So....if all 4 kids are BOBs we will probably just let them pick the excursions on St’s Martin and Thomas. If it ends up just Chuck and I, then we’ll want to do some kind of tour on St Martin. Something that involves both water and land. Either way I gotta get me some of those Guavaberry smoothies. On St Thomas, we might take the trek over to St John since we’ve never been there. If it’s just Tony and Stacy with us, they’ll want to get over to St Johns too but I’m not sure about St M.

YIKES! That sounds so confusing.
..

You definitely still have a date for Palo's Brunch. Scott would be devistated if you stood him up!:lovestruc

I looked at the dessert buffet (just to see it), but I was still too full from dinner to eat anything...and we had the earliest early dining time!

We'll still go to the character breakfast (munchkin won't let us miss that!) and the Pirate Party, but we'll skip shows we've already seen to do something else.

I never skip a show. Call me crazy I know! I love them. I could watch them over and over and over and over and over.........:lmao:

THEY have been found!!! The THEY are Lina's retainers. Lina's friend Melissa just brought them to the house. Melissa found them in her room stuck between her bed and the wall. Lina was in the shower when Melissa dropped them off, I was holding the retainer case when Lina walked out of the bathroom, you should have seen her face when she saw the retainers. Hazel just called and cancelled the orthodontist appointment for tomorrow afternoon. Lina now gets her other $225.00 back from dear old dad!!! :thumbsup2

That is GREAT news for Lina and her "softy" dad. Gotta love money back in your pocket.:thumbsup2

Thanks Cass,

Well goodnight everybody. I'm going to go upstairs and wish Beth a happy anniversary. At midnight, it will be our 19th Wedding Anniversary. pirate: princess:

Not a huge celebration this year. (The cruise in May was justified in part as an early anniversary present. But I do have a couple of small surprises in store...

G'Night

Matthew

Happy Anniversary! Hope your day is wonderful for you both.:lovestruc

Gas in LA was 4.71 last week, a little lower up north. But the fires are awful once you get inland. We were in Muir Woods and there were no issues. But Once you got inland it's bad. When we left from Sacramento you couldn't see anything past the runway.
