And yes ... steel drums at sailaway would be awesome!! :cool1:

If I have enough to drink I might even try to play them myself ... :lmao:

YIKES! How much do you expect to have consumed by the sail away party? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Or, are you starting earlier than the rest of us?:rotfl2:

All right, I'm gone for a week and no one wants to play with me now? Fine, although I'd love to stay and chat, I need to motivate the other headcounts at work instead. :goodvibes

Later

Good luck Jeff and everyone else with this.

I'm starting to get nervous even with American at this point. :worried:

My nervousness with AA would be how much more will they nickel and dime you for. Charging for the first bag, come on already.

Not that I would expect you to remember this, but by the time the Magic sailed out of Port Canaveral in 2005, jay and I had already downed an entire bottle of wine, two frosty blended drinks from Signals, and were starting on the martini flight at Diversions while waiting for the NL playoff game to start. Later that evening we each had very large martinis in the promenande lounge before dinner and then had a second bottle of wine with dinner.

I'm pretty sure this was the night we invented elevator tag. :rotfl2:

And.......uncertain times with these crazy boards today.......:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The boards are whacked today. I foresee them going down sometime this afternoon or tonight. Must be having some type of server problems.

Anything mentioned out on the other boards or the Tech board?

My concern right now is that we booked for this October in March ... so the baggage fees don't apply (I have that in writing). But they've already changed our departure time from 6:15AM to 8:30AM and I'm concerend that they'll do it again. We always book the earliest flight possible so that we can have as much WDW time as we can on the first day. Now we're getting in to Florida more than an hour later than we expected.

Aside from being annoyed about that, AA has said that they are going to cancel 38 flights just out of St. Louis. Since I booked the cheapest fare available at the time it's non-refundable, otherwise I'd cancel now and just book Southwest. As it is I'm stuck unless the cancel our flight altogether (and I almost wish they would at this point).

I will do my best to never fly American again after this year ... unless we can't avoid it for some reason. I think they stink!

A very good evening to you all:goodvibes

My hubbys home:banana: - the weekend has started and I'm still full from my big pig out chinese lunch - no dinner for me:thumbsup2

Ellis and I made birthday cards for the house earlier (its one today!):goodvibes and Neil bought it (me) some flowers:goodvibes - I know , I know , we're all mad - but you knew that already didnt ya!::yes:: :lmao:

Good morning everyone!

Vacation day today.
Last day at old job on Monday.
New job on Tuesday.

I need to remember to breathe!

We are trying Amelia at the pool tomorrow.

Good luck for the new job - I'm sure you'll do just fine:thumbsup2

Good luck with Amelia at the pool tomorrow too:goodvibes

I know I've missed something I wanted to say, but I guess that's what I get for posting before I've had any caffeine :hyper:

Jen you really make me laugh with some of your posts - you're hilarious:rotfl:

Ok, so here's a cruise question....

:scared1: A cruise question!... is that allowed?.........anyone would think this is a cruise forum:scared1:

so Pete and I can sneak over to Serenity....we didn't get there last time.

Nei ladn I intend to get over there for an hour or so ourselves - we'll be putting Ellis in the kids club:rolleyes1 - bad mommy and Daddy:rolleyes1

It was kinda funny - I had the trolley and lighthouse planned for Key West on our Western, and DS didn't want to go. He wanted to be in the club! Of course, I think Pete wanted to be at the air-conditioned club too when I made him walk all they way down Duval St. and to Southernmost Point....

I think we ALL wished we'd stayed on the ship after that stupid trek to that southern point thing:headache: - Thomas had the right idea:thumbsup2

I'm finally able to get on the DIS, tried from 5:30 to 8:30 this morning with no luck.

I got on just fine this morning:confused3 ....:scared1: Did I break it again!:scared1: .....I blame AFEG:rolleyes1 (HE'S NOT AROUND TO DEFEND HIMSELF:lmao: )

And yes ... steel drums at sailaway would be awesome!! :cool1:

Brenda - I did this once at a friends wedding. She hired a steel band for the evening reception... before the evening guests arrived I had a quick go while no-one was looking - I wasnt very good though:lmao: ....people started looking at me and thinking "Geez, the entertainment is dreadful":lmao:

Hi Karen! See you and I are great thinkers (and drinkers) ... we're always talking about the same darn thing! :rotfl2:

DCL would probably call security on me, but I could start a trend with all the BOBers and we could all end up playing the drums! :thumbsup2

and then we could all sit together in the brig! :rotfl2:

You know you don't need to put him in the club that day. He is more than welcome to just hang with us, like when you guys did the parasailing. :thumbsup2

I'll happily bang a drum with you! - If the security came we could just throw our drums at Jeff and say "it was him officer not us":rolleyes1 :lmao:

Better idea - throw DS in the club too and party with us at Serenity :cool1: - I feel the need for another konked kooler with Suz:cool1:

OOH! - Proud Mommy alert!!!!!!!!!

Forgot to say earlier - Ellis passed his karate grading - he's now a proud red belt:goodvibes

Wii people - if you fancy a driving game - Need for speed carbon is very good.

Bought it for Neil today (big kid)

How am I now caught in the middle of this? :confused3 You two are the drunks. :rotfl2:

Suz adn I don't need any Serenity. We're an old married couple. :rotfl2:

We might walk down there with you. We could just leave the boys playing in the sand by the water. They'd probably not even notice we're gone. :rotfl:

Truth be told, Suz and I didn't care much for Serenity Bay the one and only time we walked down there.

Maybe what we can do is Suz, I and our DS's can take the bikes out, bike down there while you and Neil walk and then we'll bike around the island.

Also bought Mario Kart today - its got a free steering wheel inside :yay:

Ellis and I made Neil play hunt the thimble (well wii game) til he found it:lmao: - told you we were all mad:bitelip:

Congrats to Ellis! :thumbsup2

Jeff, it's a long walk down to Serenity Bay ... bring plenty of Konked Koolers to slurp along the way.

:lmao: A rhyme!! :lmao:

We've played Mario Kart. I so want to get that one. DS still has to pick what he wants for his report card last semester. We rented Indiana Jones this past weekend, but I don't get into those. I'm hoping he picks Mario Kart.

You just happened to be online, so I thought you could take the blame and punishment off security::yes::

The bikes sound kinda fun - I did think we might get them next time round. I just dont know where that day went. I didnt even have time to post my postcards - the p.o. had shut by the time I wrote them. That day went waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to fast. I blame it all on the company:goodvibes - having a big bunch of friends to chat to sure made that day whizzzz by.

I read you need flip flops to get in the sea? - is it rocky at serenity? I dont stay in the sea for long (cuz of scarey evil fish:scared: ), but I do like a dip every now and again.

You're a poet - did you know it?:rotfl:

Walk:scared1: - me?..... I did enough of that to Southern point.... me no walky (unless theres a sexy pirate waiting for me of course;) )

I believe theres a tram:rolleyes1 - I'll be on that holding tightly to my konked kooler(s);)
