We've played Mario Kart. I so want to get that one. DS still has to pick what he wants for his report card last semester. We rented Indiana Jones this past weekend, but I don't get into those. I'm hoping he picks Mario Kart.

I dont like those type either - adventure stuff, but Ellis likes them. He has the Indiana on his nintendo ds.

I believe you can play with other people somehow on mario kart? - persuade your ds that he'll be able to play against Ellis - that might help!:thumbsup2

I have a playstation game waiting for Ellis' school report - its due in 2 weeks along with his sats (tests) scores. If he does well he gets Pirates of the caribbean - me likey that pirate:rotfl: ::yes::

You're a poet - did you know it?:rotfl:

Walk:scared1: - me?..... I did enough of that to Southern point.... me no walky (unless theres a sexy pirate waiting for me of course;) )

I believe theres a tram:rolleyes1 - I'll be on that holding tightly to my konked kooler(s);)

We took the tram ... it's the only way to go! With a Konked Kooler in hand, of course! :thumbsup2

Also bought Mario Kart today - its got a free steering wheel inside :yay:

Ellis and I made Neil play hunt the thimble (well wii game) til he found it:lmao: - told you we were all mad:bitelip:

We love Mario Kart. Over here, you can buy extra steering wheels for $10 a piece. Too bad we can't connect the Wii games over the internet. We could have a DisBoards Grand Prix! :happytv:

On our cruise in May, they had a Wii Sports Challenge event. We showed up, but no cast member, and only a couple of other people that didn't know how to operate the Wii. We got it set up and working. A 13 year old boy came and was playing with Megan (10). He decided to add an "Expert" computer player to his tennis team and proceeded to whoop Megan. Megan's computer partner had a low skill level. He didn't seem very sportsmanlike taking advantage of a 10 year old. So we left for other activities.

Besides, we can play Wii at home. Too many fun DCL only this to do on board. :bitelip:

Matthew

We are trying Amelia at the pool tomorrow. :wizard:

Good luck with that Mel!!! Lots of    for Amelia!!

I'm gonna throw my two cents in here for what it's worth (and I'm sure that's not even worth two cents) ...

I agree with Chris. Quite frankly, some of this information makes me cringe, not only for the original poster, but for her family as well. This is a public forum and anyone can read what's posted here.

Carrie, can you imagine how hurt Kelsey would be if she read some of the things you've posted about her lately? I know I would be upset if that happened to me. Just something to think about. :goodvibes

I also agree with others here Carrie. We always welcome people posting personal stuff but what you have been posting the last few days goes beyond what people expect to deal with here. Perhaps if you asked for advice about your situation over on the Family Board or the Community Board, I'm sure there are people over there in your same situation.

Andy, good luck with your party! :thumbsup2

A very good evening to you all:goodvibes

My hubbys home:banana: - the weekend has started and I'm still full from my big pig out chinese lunch - no dinner for me:thumbsup2

Ellis and I made birthday cards for the house earlier (its one today!):goodvibes and Neil bought it (me) some flowers:goodvibes - I know , I know , we're all mad - but you knew that already didnt ya!::yes:: :lmao:

Jen you really make me laugh with some of your posts - you're hilarious:rotfl:

Nei ladn I intend to get over there for an hour or so ourselves - we'll be putting Ellis in the kids club:rolleyes1 - bad mommy and Daddy:rolleyes1

I think we ALL wished we'd stayed on the ship after that stupid trek to that southern point thing:headache: - Thomas had the right idea:thumbsup2

Yes, we do know you're mad, but that's what makes you fun too! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Hmmm....maybe we could leave all 3 boys with Jeff and go over to Serenity! Hehehe....

Actually, since DS didn't go in Scuttle's Cove at all last time, I don't feel too bad about trying it for a while this time, or if he's playing with his cousins we could sneak off for a bit. I just know I'd like to see it since I didn't get to last time.

No kidding! I promised Pete if we were ever in KW again he wouldn't have to go to the Southernmost Point again....we can stop at Margaritaville instead!

Matthew

Hi Matthew - we can get the steering wheels here too - I thought I had one in the wii pack at home, but when I got home and looked... it was a tennis raquet:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We could all meet up on a sea day for half an hour - Megan could play Ellis and the other kids. He's better than me and Neil at bowls:rolleyes1

Jeff, it's a long walk down to Serenity Bay ... bring plenty of Konked Koolers to slurp along the way.

:lmao: A rhyme!! :lmao:

We've walked that already without a KK in hand. What were we thinking. :headache:

Luckily we made it back. :rotfl:

OK - I think that whatever is happening with the boards today has something to do with the clock and the time zones that people are in.

Cass just posted something and it's showing up two pages ago ... this place is WONKY today! :rotfl2:

I feel a serenity bay meet coming on:cool1: :cool1: Ellis didnt do scuttles either last time - he was meant to go in when Neil and I parasailed, but Jeff kindly stepped in and looked after hom for us-thats when they made the big castle. They'd probvably all have fun together in there anyway...heck, none of them ever wanted to leave the club last time!

Ok, yeah I just noticed that too! I am glad you noticed, I thought I was going nuts!!!! :rolleyes1

Trying to read back....I saw your post asking how I was  Thanks...doing good, trying to keep busy and active with Kira :thumbsup2 Sorry to hear about all that water you guys are dealing with :worried: Glad to know that you guys are safe!

My email was read on the podcast email show!!! :cool1: :hyper:  Maybe they will draw my name and I can win a podcast cruise from the prize-matron!!! :woohoo: :yay: :rolleyes1

Ok, what is up with my posts??? Am I in the Canadian twilight zone???? :lmao:

Somewhat cruise related to all of you and somewhat my dilema for August.

As you know Midwest is on the verge of going under. We booked them for both sides of the Repo. Still debating if we should just roll the dice, spend $450 and get a seat on Air Tran so that we are certain to get out to LA. We have frequent flyer seats on Midwest, so no loss of money there.

Ever cautious me would book the flights. If you have to find flights at the last minute, could cost you a lot more. At least you won't have to worry any more about Midwest.

Last time, we had planned in advance that CC day was going to be a "family day" so we didn't plan anything. It was fun, but I think DS would not have minded going to Scuttles Cove. He sure never wanted to leave the club on the boat!

Hi Karen! See you and I are great thinkers (and drinkers) ... we're always talking about the same darn thing! :rotfl2:

DCL would probably call security on me, but I could start a trend with all the BOBers and we could all end up playing the drums! :thumbsup2

and then we could all sit together in the brig! :rotfl2:

It would be more like STOMP!:rotfl2: :rotfl:

Maybe we're going nuts simultaneously and yet at different times ... :rotfl2:

Glad to hear you're doing well and thanks for thinking of us and our neighbors during this soggy time. :goodvibes
