Here's hoping all works out for the best Carrie. I know how hard you and Scott have been working on trying to find an answer.

I think we might have found it. Scott and I still have not gotten a real chance to talk about it but from what I am hearing from Kelsey they did diagnose her with 2 things, one mildly and the other not so much. This dr. wants to see her again in 3 weeks and keep it at 3 weeks for awhile. Only down fall with this dr is the distance away with gas prices.

If project graduation is the same as it is here. it's a party all night to keep the kids in and safe. They have games and bands and food and soda's so there is no drinking and no stupid accidents on graduation night. Nothing is worse than picking up the newspaper and reading about a bad accident after graduation because of drinking.

Hope every one is safe and made good choices!!!

I am thinking that Arizona just really does not think that way at all. They really rush things to get the kids out and about for what they want to do.

Who is standing next to Pete (Jen's DH) on the KK group picture? It would be the guy to the left with the blue shirt (not Rose's Bob). Tony thinks that's the guy they met at Budget.

One of my favorite memories involved my DD, Emily. She missed her high school's homecoming for the cruise. She actually took it like a champ, although she was very disappointed. That was hard for me, because I knew she was upset, but she wanted to stay upbeat and not ruin the cruise. Well one night, we get back to our room to find an ingraved invitation to "homecoming" in the teen club. She even had to wear her formal dress! I know it still wasn't the same as her own homecoming at Quantico High, but she had a great time getting ready and going to the dance. It wa so nice to see her excited about it, too.

That is really cool!:cool2:

I was sitting with a teen on one of our excursions. She wasn't too thrilled about the teen club on the cruise. I keep hoping that that was just a personal preference of the girl. I think she was bored and maybe just not trying to connect. The dance sounds like it was a great idea!

Hi All--just got back from dropping Lina off at Project Graduation. This event is held at our local community center from 10pm until 1:30am. The pool, gym and climbing wall will all be open and they have all kinds of food for the kids. Nothing stronger to drink than soda. I got Lina there about 10:10 and the place was quite packed with kids.

I'm not going to have time to post any pics tonight as I have to go to work tomorrow and I need to get some sleep.

All went well, no family crisis, but Hazel and I shed quite a few tears when we saw our baby walk in, then again when she was receiving her diploma and when she was walking out at the end of the ceremony. My camera died just after one of my nieces used it to take a few pics of Hazel and I with Lina. My mom had her camera in her car, so we went and took a few pics with that camera, but I will have to wait a few weeks before I get those pics and can scan them into my laptop.

The weather was absolutley beautiful, we could not have asked for a better night!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Sounds like a lovely evening Andy. Glad things turned out well.

The Graduation Ceremony tonight lastest a little over 90 minutes, which is what it usually takes at our school. There were 265 kids that graduated in Lina's class. We had a few different speakers, awards(scholarships) were also handed out, and it took about 20 minutes or so to hand out all the diplomas.

I think we have it! We're thinking it was Sean (Medical Man). :yay: :yay: :yay:

OK...now I can sleep.

I had to pull out that picture, but am not sure who he is, could he be Abby's husband? Sorry I'm not much help.:confused3

Do you have the picture to post?

Andy, glad to hear all went well tonight.

Is it just her party left to do now?

Cute picture Robin.

Boy does that bring back memories. It was not a Dis cruise but I had just turned 21. I went on a cruise to Hawaii with my parents. I was just out of a really bad relationship. So my parents thought it would be good for me to go with them. The first night on the ship my mother was ill and stayed in the room for dinner. So it was my father and I and another family of 3. I kept watching the serving station by me to see how they do things (I was working resturants at the time so I was interested). Well I made the comment to my father that our server was cute. By the end of dinner my father told the server that I was just out of a bad relationship and that I need a little extra TLC. (I was in the bathroom when he did this or I would have killed him). When I got back to the table the server and I stayed and chatted for about 2 hours after the dinning room was closed. He said he would show me around the first island because he had the day off. Heck hang with him or my parents. I think the choice was obvious. While out sightseeing I passed out. I was hypoglycemic. When I came to and told him about it he was very caring. He showed up at my room every morning with my favorite meal, eggs benidict. He would bring that before breakfast was even being served. Then he would bring me a cheese tray in the afternoon and a fruit plate every night before bed. I think that was the best part of the cruise was being taken care of like that.

Very sweet!:flower3: At that age, I would have loved it tooo!

How come everyone can see it, but I can't? Must be my computer acting up.

Seriously, can you just copy the web address into the address line above to open it?

Also, try righ-clicking and select "show picture".
