Well, I have a few family members I'd like to put in front of a firing squad tonight, but other than that, all is well.............:lmao:

And no, two of the family members are "NOT" Hazel and Lina.

Like the old saying goes, you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family.

PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! We could use some extra :wizard: sent this way to get through the Graduation Ceremony tomorrow night without any family arguments taking place. I have already threatened if any trouble starts the police "WILL" be called. I need this like I need a whole in the head. Luckily, Lina knows "NOTHING" about what is going on behind the scenes. But, my stomach is in a ball of knots.

And good luck and congratulations to Lina!

:cool1: The UPS man just knocked on the door with my picture order from the trip:rotfl2:

Now I get to go seperate them from album to scrapbook.

I just bought 2 pins from disney.com. Can not beat it. I got them both for $14.31 They do free shipping on pins on Mondays, and the two I got were on sale. One is an x-mas gift for little one and then the other one was for me. Not often I buy things for me.

Okay, now that we have moved and have lots of posts available ;) I'm asking another quizzy question:

What is everyone's favorite Disney Cruise memory??

Okay, so I didn't answer my own question. Probably because there are just too many.

The most fun memory was a little game we started playing: "Where on the ship is Laura X" (I can't remember her last name!) Anyway, Laura was first our tour guide, then a greeter outside of "The Golden Mickeys" and then a hostess for various family games. She even began asking US if we were following her! It was so much fun figuring out where we run into her again! (This was an 11 night cruise, and yes, we did see her every day!)

But, the most magical was looking at the stars when we were out on the Mediteranaen Sea on our Verandah. I shaded away the lights from the sides and looked up... and saw what looked like a thousand stars! I have to say that whole cruise was magical!

I guess I should add the excitement my kids had. Megan made a wish at one of the shows to take a Disney cruise every year! (Sarah's was to be a princess, which, of course, she is!) The best of Sarah was at the sail away party for the Wonder 3 night... she got up front and was so excited...especially when she saw herself on the big screen!!

As I said... I can't name just one!

I missed your question.

I would have to say the most magical memory was the fact that within 2 hours of getting on the ship my daughter makes friends with the DJ (Brent). He really took the time to get to know her. During the sail away he would dance with her and finally got us up on the stage to dance. He learned that she really liked Kiss the girl from Arial so everytime he saw her walk into an area he played the song for her. During the adult time at night when I would see him I was known as Mackenzie's mommy. Mackenzie was tickeled to death everytime he would play her song or say hi to her on the mic.

There's no better way to both get started on a new thread and say good morning to everyone than to answer this question.
My favorite cruise memory occured on our last cruise in October, 2007, KK1. Lynn deleted all my pictures :faint: from the cruise from my digital camera. ::yes:: You heard right. I was speechless, maybe a little:furious: when a couple days after that event she finally told me what she did. It's now the subject for a good laugh. :rotfl:
Have a good day all.

Chris

Good morning people. Karen Mouse checking in for thread 8:goodvibes

I'm tired this morning - I've only just got up, but I feel like I've had no sleep.

I have too many. I was like a kid in a sweet shop all week long. I dont think I stopped grinning all week:)

Karen, hope Ellis' class trip was uneventful.

Yes, thank you - he made it home alive:banana: - the teacher gets a well deserved bunch of flowers today from him to say thank you. Its not an easy task and she volunteered:goodvibes

Big hugs Andy - I'm sure it will all go well. Of course...we want lots of photos::yes::

Texas bikers checking in and hoping everyone has a good night sleep tonight. Diane

Finally got to sleep about 1am and back up at 5:30am thanks to our neighbors dog who is running loose and nearly got hit by a car in front of our house. The driver laid on their car horn right outside our bedroom window. I'm wide awake now. ::yes::

Hey, morning there fellow BOB'ers....

Are these the revised ones after the 2 of you just couldn't stop posting???:rotfl2:

Yes, these were taken after thread #7 was closed down..........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You have to do a little highlighting under my name to see who came in second and what their post count was..........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I saw your picture of that on the "Picture a day" thread. I was thinking: "Wow! How do you get to do that??"

Captain Thord follows the DISboards and he happened to find out that Hazel and I were on that sailing celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. When we arrived back to our cabin after spending the day at CC there was a message on our phone with a special invitation to meet Captain Thord on the bridge as we sailed away later that afternoon. It came as a shock and complete surprise to both of us, and we never expected to be able to blow the horn as we sailed away. It was a MAGICal moment to be sure!!! :goodvibes

Way to go girl, every now and then we need to do some special for ourselves. I never used to do it, but I am learning to do it now myself!!! ;)

Our own dog woke me up this am. I usually can't sleep before a trip anyway. I got up and started getting directions to the hotel, etc. I'm feeling tired this morning, too, Karen!

well, i was offered a job teaching full time for a well known online university (I have been teaching for them part time for two years now)!!! I've applied for this job several times and never made it past the written interview stage until last month!

I have had two phone interview in the last three weeks, my references were contacted on Friday and yesterday morning. Then late afternoon yesterday I was called an offered the position!

I'm so excited! The biggest reason for looking for a telecommuting job is so that I could be involved in my kids lives more during the day. For the last three years I've worked all day, come home to the kids but only have been able to be involved in dinner and bedtime. I missed them so much!

So this is a step up in my career and I'll be at home! I'll have to travel to Arizona (expenses paid) every July for graduation, but it really sounds like a great job! I start July 1st.

My boss is leaving for a conference today so I had to call him at home last night and tell him. That was NOT easy at all! He's such a great guy and has been so flexible and understanding with me since I had Amelia three years ago. Great person overall it is going to be sad to leave him and King's. They're like second family to me. I love that college.

SO after speakign with him and telling him it is mainly me wanting to be with the kids more that fueled my looking elsewhere (King's doesn't have a flex time policy) rather than the job, the pay or the people he wants to try and work something out with HR. He thinks if I'm willing, that he is going to push to get them to develop a flex time policy so I can stay. He doesn't want me to go.

So now I'm confused!!!
