10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with BOB) - Thread #8

Other things we were thinking of doing onboard that we can't book until we're on the ship:

Martini tasting (again!) Us too!
Galley Tour (if offered) Us too!
Rainforest passes (the lizard queen needs a hot, flat rock)
One of the adult entertainment classes (never have made it to any of these yet) Us as well.

I'd love to do a different kind of tasting if they offer one, but we've done the wine class before and the beer tasting is stuff that we've had here at home so we have no interest in doing that.

I think a tequila tasting or a rum tasting could be fun and informative.

Looks like we're on the same wave length Brenda...but forget the tequila tasting - YUK!

And some things we think we're skipping ...

The character breakfast
The dessert buffet
The Pirate Party

Every show ...

Nooooooooo.....how could you?

Yup, we're skipping the Character breakfast too. And unless the shows have changed or there is something new, we'll be skipping those too. We saw them twice now and it's enough for us. That'll give us a lot of extra time. Maybe we'll have to take up booze for the cruise.

I'm sure I read on the DIS that they were reverting back to the old character breakfast.

Us too Heather. Chuck and I hit the ground running on our vacations. That's why we love Disney vacations. No laying around for us.

That's us....have to be doing something to get our $$$ worth.

We had lunch in Lumiere's on Key West day. Feel free to laugh - Pete and I ordered bacon cheeseburgers in that lovely dining room! They were really good too

I was just thinking, we did go to Planet Hollywood a few years ago, and Lina really enjoyed that, maybe that's where we can go to celebrate her #18!!!

The one at Westside has really gone to seed over the last few years. Go to the Cheescake Factory!

They ate with me BEFORE we walked to Southernmost Point....

I did buy Pete ice cream on the way back - we stopped at Blond Giraffe....

He's only forgiven me because I told him we'd never do it again!

I read this too....I'm hoping it hasn't changed again by the time we cruise.

I'm thinking of taking in a character meal at Disneyland while we're there in Dec. so Thomas can see the characters again...don't know if they're around in the parks a lot....and we'll only be there 2 days.

Great minds ... guess we'll see you at the martini tasting and the galley tour!

And we'll skip the character breakfast either way - we've been to two of them on DCL and that's plenty for us. I think that would be a nice morning to have breakfast in bed after room sevice pays us a visit.
