Those Deck-4 chairs are awesome! Jay and I like to go out there in the evenings when everyone else is at a show or hanging in the clubs and just watch the sea go by.

And romantic, too because there was almost no one out there with us. :goodvibes

Or until some newbies stop by to chat for an hour. Sorry....:sad1:

Oh well, I do have some other vacations coming up....20 days until Door County WI, in fact! We have a beach day planned, wine tasting, and some other fun stuff....:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Some day we're going to have to get to Door County - everyone says such great things about it.

And wine tastings ... take good notes, Jen! :thumbsup2

And some things we think we're skipping ...

The character breakfast
The dessert buffet
The Pirate Party

Every show ... :lmao:

We're skipping the character breakfast, too. As for the shows, it depends on what's playing......

jay and I just aren't stage show people ... different strokes for different folks.

Besides ... it gives us more time at the spa, and the pool, and the cove cafe! :lmao:

It's wonderful - lots to see and do....and eat and drink!

Well, I'm a self-proclaimed wine novice, but I'll try to report back!

We're also planning our annual trek to Al Johnson's - it's a Swedish restaurant with a grass roof, and they have goats up on the roof during the day to graze on the grass. Oh yeah - they have awesome swedish pancakes too!

did we look like we were upset to see you? :rotfl2:

Not at all. But we did start piling up there didn't we? I think we ended up with at least 4 couples that night. :goodvibes

Yup, we're skipping the Character breakfast too. And unless the shows have changed or there is something new, we'll be skipping those too. We saw them twice now and it's enough for us. That'll give us a lot of extra time. Maybe we'll have to take up booze for the cruise. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Oh noooooo....we piled up on you in the spa too didn't we? :lmao:

Viva le Mochaccino :woohoo:

Heather, how close to sailing on the WB did people get their rooms? I'm assuming you will have to have it very soon since they will be mailing you your luggage tags. They need to do that at about a month out since you're outside the US.

Hope you get your room soon.

Yep...I hope so to, otherwise I'll have to have a word with our TA. Sme of the DS have received their cabins.

Even though I should be working ... ;)

I just realized that this time next year we will all be talking about our upcoming on-line booking dates for excursions and other good things like that!

Just for fun, what are you all planning on doing on the ship or in port?

I'll start:

Jay and will book all the dining options at Palo because we love eating there!

We will book the naughty mud room because that's a cruise tradition for us. ;) We are also talking about booking one of the spa suites but that's going to depend on our budget next year and whether or not we'd just rather have a cabana massage again on Castaway Cay ... that was a pretty good experience and a great way to end the cruise!

We've parasailed twice at Castaway Cay, so I'm not sure yet if we'll do it again ... just depends on the mood we're in once it's time to book I suppose.

As for shore excursions ... we're up in the air about St. Martin - we really want to get to the French side of the island and check that out but we also want to spend some time in the water (they have gorgeous water there). And of course there is the J&B Guavaberry Expeditionary Force to consider! :lmao:

I think that we will try to get over to St. John when we're docked in St. Thomas - Jay would love to snorkel there and I would love to let him. :thumbsup2

That's all I can come up with for now. :goodvibes

We want to do Palo - brunch and dinner
The hidden mickey challenge
Martini tasting
Find deck 7 aft sunbeds
Cooking demos
character brekkie
order room sevice
lunch in lumieres
spa
gfind the gym or do a class
watch a movie in the evening outdoors
Use the hot tub in the evening
go to the cinema
scoff from the dessert buffet
steal eclairs from cove cafe - oh wait! - I already did that one:lmao:

OK, what is PAP (and I don't want the answer from Karen's joke :scared: :rotfl: )?

It would then be called a glittery PAP:rotfl2:

Lina is supposed to go to the shore with some friends(she's waiting for them to call her back), Hazel has a funeral to attend around noon. It's so sad, friends on Hazel's side of the family had an 18 year old daughter that died of a drug overdose the other day. The girl had recently come out of rehab, was doing good, then went out with her so-called boyfriend and she died that night.

Oh how awful:sad1: - what a young age. The parents must be devastated. I'll put them in my prayers tonight.

BTW - poor DS is now peeling from his sunburn, and we just got the field trip schedule for July....another trip to the pool on Wednesday! Glad I got him the "swim shirt"....I don't want him to get burned and be miserable over the July 4th weekend...

Jen - have you tried aloe vera gel? - if we burn we put loads of it on and it really helps.:thumbsup2

Good evening Heather

Are you planning on doing a trip report for the Repo? I love reading those especially when it is written by someone I know. :thumbsup2

Jay and I need a mix of relaxation and activity or we start to get stir-crazy. That's one reason why we can't just do a vacation where all there is to do is hang out on the beach ... it would drive us both more nuts than we already are. :rotfl:

We're with you on this Brenda....Rick and I have to do something, we're not lie on the beach/by the pool people.

We'll join you for one of those fantastic Fish Boils too B.

Nancy, I haven't done a fish boil yet....that's on the agenda for this year too!

We did fine a great beach last year though...Whitefish Dunes. It was so awesome! Not a lot of shade though, so we got a sun shelter to take with us this year.

Greetings Karen.

Ooooh, I like your list. I might have to steal a few of those. We never had lunch in Lumieres and want to try that. We never went to the Buena Vista theatre for a movie either. We should have done that last year on Thursday when it was so crappy outside. I wanted one of those eclairs from the Cove Cafe but everytime I went to get one they were all gone. All I heard was some muttering from the other passengers about some crazy Aussie who would do the "snag and run". :goodvibes

Us too Heather. Chuck and I hit the ground running on our vacations. That's why we love Disney vacations. No laying around for us.

For the Buena Vista Theatre, either dress warm or take a blanket with you. Everytime we have been in that theatre it has been freezing cold....:cold:
