Good "Early" Morning Folks...

It's going to be another very L-O-N-G day for me I'm afraid. Without going into great detail, we had an incident here at the house around 1:30 this morning and I haven't been able to go back to sleep.

Oh my, I hope everything is better now. Have as good a day as you can without any sleep.

On our last cruise when Mike was doing his act, I think he selected a boy that might have had ADHD, poor Mike had to end the act earlier than expected because the boy was giving Mike all kinds of trouble. You could tell that Mike was getting upset, and he was doing the best he could with the boy.

I'm hoping to hear from the police officer today. He said he was going to call and speak to the girl that called Lina and try to resolve this matter before it gets blown out of proportion. What a night!!!

I used DCL's insurance. Drat. Next time I'll know better.

Double check with them, but from what I understand, unless you book the air with them, it is not covered.

Also, if you switch now, your air won't be covered since it was more than 14 days from the initial deposit.

There are, however, two companies that cover air bankruptcy if purchased by final payment. Can't remember which ones, but you can find them on Insure My Trip dot Com.

Doing OK, don't think Lina and I will make it to Riverwinds to workout later this morning, too much drama overnight. Lina received a threating phone call about 1am and she called the police before waking Hazel or I up. What I shock I got when I walked out into the livingroom at 1:30 and saw a police officer standing by our front door.

Not what you want to wake up to at all. Hope all is o.k. now.

I'm actually off to get ready for work. Then take DS to the Zoo for Zoo Camp. I won't be on until at least 8:15 my time, so I won't be able to help you guys out until then if it gets closed.

However, unless we close #9 within a month, someone else may want to have the first post so it can be edited while I'm gone.

Better thought, maybe we should have a "BOB Cruiser" as a DISer and have a few people with the password so it can be changed more often if needed. Maybe limit it to 4 or 5 people having access. Not sure if that will go against DIS rules though.

I have been debating lately by balcony cabin, I always cruise with a balcony but since my first cruise I have switched to Carnival which is alot cheaper then Disney, and I really don't like windows view, so the debate is balcony or inside which is a little over $1000 less????

What do you all think??? Since there is so much going on on disney I wonder if the balcony is worth it?

Hi Kim! Glad to see you back!

I have never cruised with a balcony - our first and only cruise on Disney last year was a deck 7 forward porthole. We booked it again (my mom liked the location) but to be honest, we were hardly ever in the room enough to enjoy it. The cat 10's I think have the same amount of room inside that the balcony rooms do (I think) so you wouldn't lose a lot of room space.

Hmmm....now you've got me thinking...I wonder if there are any inside rooms across the hall from the porthole room I have booked? I'll have to go check

I had a checkup with my Dr. yesterday, and she did not like my current weight compared to last time. So, I officially have to start doing something....a week before vacation .

I will definitely post some pics from Door County when I get back. We haven't decided if we're going to take the laptop, but the internet connection is very slow, so chances are I won't be on much next week.
