10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with BOB) - Thread #8

Well, I have once again changed my travel plans for Next October. Since my Bro backed out of the cruise, I've got more freedom with planning. We had planned on going to WDW the week prior to the cruise but now I think that I'll be going the week after the cruise. I didn't notice it before but a week ago I realized that the week before our cruise was "Regular" season and the week after our cruise is "value" season. So I ran the numbers and found that if I just changed the dates of our WDW leg of the vacation, I can either save a bunch of money or upgrade from a value to a moderate for the same amount of money. That means that I'll be trying for a set of those MNSSHP tickets when they go on sale. I'll also be looking to stay at the Raddisson the night before with what looks to be a gigantic list of BOBers!

Great to see you here Steve. Awesome pics, thanks for sharing!! Happy belated birthday to Leah princess: princess: party: :bday: party: princess: princess:

Perhaps Andy can verify this but I believe the first week of November is Jersey week, which I heard can be really busy!! I was also thinking of doing the week after the cruise at the parks but the touring plans guide had that week as really crowded compared to the week before the cruise, so that is what we will be doing. We are still doing MNSSHP but then heading home the next day :thumbsup2

Sorry to bump in. Was anyone watching Americas Got Talent? They previewed next weeks show and it looked like Vantriloquist Michael Harrison. He did the Puppet Boy act on the KK1 cruise. He is supposed to be on AGT next Tuesday.

If you DVR'd tonights show it was right at the end of the show.

Mark

Yeah, it's funny that he's on America's got Talent considering he is Canadian :rolleyes1 I thought he was hilarious in 2005 and 2007 on the cruise so I hope he does well! ::yes::

Hi Cass,
Just to let you know I got to talk about Kira today. My friend was showing me pics of her granddaughter and telling me how she smiles and smiles but as soon as the camera comes out nothing. I told her about and attempted to show her how Kira was doing Flash Face. She thought that was so funny. So now she is even famous down here in CA.:cutie:

Sneaky 1 and Sneaky 2 are all snug in there beds while visions of cruise ships dance in their heads.

My friends across the pond are probably starting their Thursday off right now so don't have the time to DIS with me....

My neighbor is also asleep in a totally separate bed from S1 and S2 yet dreaming of the same thing....

Cass is probably getting much needed snuggle time with her Jedi Knight um I mean her storm trooper (that can't be comfortable).....

Oh great! I really didn't want to change my plans again!!!!!:headache: What is Jersey week?

Oh well, good thing I don't have anything set in stone, I can always switch back. I'll have to do more research!

I'll leave it to my other West Coast friend and fellow central valleyan to take over now.... if not, Sneaky Boys have fun catch ya on #9

I thought that Jersey week was the week of Veteran's day in Nov. only reason is that we went during Jersey week in 2006 and also did a 4 day cruise. I didn't think it was that bad, of course we went to WDW during NYE that year as well and it might have just seem not busy after that.

3 more sleeps until Door County!

Have a fab trip Jen - remember we want lots of piccies:thumbsup2

In June we were invited to be amongst the first riders of the new Toy Story Midway Madness ride and DCA. We ran down to Anaheim for a one day trip and spent the morning in Disneyland and the afternoon in DCA. They had really decorated Adventureland for the new Indiana Jones movie. Indy was seen frequently fighting bad guys in various locations in the Land, they had a new skit at Alladins Oasis that was Indy themed and there were hint's and clues about the new movie all over for the kids to find. Here is Stuart and Leah running from the famed Temple of the Forbidden Eye boulder.

Laura and the kids just before we were able to test the new ride.

I love looking at photos of Disneyland... its been years since we went - I barely remember it withour getting out the photo albums. That flight is just toooooo long:sad2:
