I just stopped by the house for my afternoon break, upon arriving home Lina told me that one of her fellow classmate's father hung himself yesterday. This, with less than two weeks until graduation, please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

it amazes me that no matter which side, they pretend to be everyday folks like the rest of us and really they are all rich buggars.

Something I thought was funny ...

my parents left last Thursday for a trip to Germany so I guess they've been there for about a week now - yesterday we received some postcards from them. Already!

Sheesh ... it takes weeks for postcards sent from WDW to get delivered to people here in the US!

What? Grimmie does Deutchland? I don't think they have too many casinos B. That's probably why you got a postcard so early in the trip. Poor lady is bored.

Yeah! I'm all caught up

And just killed 1 1/2 hours of work time that I had nothing to do at the Federal building (it's closed on Saturdays, so I just come and pitch the mail and hang here till it's time to go home.... it's a great Saturday job!).

Whew, hot outside, got to be in the mid 90's.
Huge festival going on outside...."Taste of Syracuse".
They have local restaurants come and bring food samples to sell at $1-$3 per item. Then there's beer and wine tents and 2 stage area's for bands.
We were going to go last night but I wasn't feeling well, perhaps tonight.

Just checked the temp on our back porch, it reads 100* and the thermomator is in the shade.

WOW, stay cool you 2. We are so far in a mild stage here in the central valley. Almost noon and we are at 74 degrees, I think we are supposed to get into the 80's but not sure if that is going to happen.

new shows to watch while working out though.
we are HUGE fans of the Muppets show and season 3 came out a week ago.

lots of good guest stars...Lesley Ann Warren, Elke Sommers, Cheryl Ladd,
Gilda Radner, and Raquel Welch.(is it just me, or can she really act??)
